I mean, it's clear that something is going to happen in terms of our understanding of what demons actually are. I doubt the arc ends without chainsaw getting significantly stronger. I don't think it's ending, but it's entirely possible this is a midpoint of sorts, and that the week to week shit is going to be very different.
Basically, I don't think the manga is ending in three weeks, but the window for something like a pomegranate demon at least feels like it's closing.
