In hindsight it doesn't feel particularly dragged. Muzan got out of his cocoon in 180 but 184 is when the fortress is forced towards upper-ground. So around 15 chapters of slowly bringing Muzan down but even so around two of those chapters fleshed out Yoriichi's backstory.
