Finally got around to watching the second movie yesterday. Blue bard is love. Probably the most beautiful puppet yet. (More for the face/hair than the boobs, although the boobs are certainly something.) I was scared the whole time that she'd die and traumatize Bard again, and was relieved when everyone made it through alive. Also happy to hear she's still alive in S3, but now worried she'll die again.

Was she lying when she said she didn't know all of Crescent Cutlass? It seemed like she got way farther into it during the duet than in her initial appearance. Part of me was keeping an eye out for other signs of deceptive recruiting after that, but she seemed to genuinely care about Bard's well-being, OR she has a level in emotional manipulation exceeding even his level of sense intent. I kinda feel like rewatching the movie.

Now that I think about it, she really carried the movie's suspense for me, between uncertainty about her lifespan and her honesty. She could even be a secret bugwoman playing 5d chess, although I strongly doubt it at this point.
