when it ended

never

Last arc was so cliche.

Last arc, was fine until then but the dude just didn't know how to end it but everyone around him wanted one.

It didn't, only bad thing about the ending was Takasugi dying then getting ress as a baby.

Whatever comes after the Kondo's rescue arc.
Actually, Shogun Assassination in paticular was the beginning of the decline.

at episode 1 when it decided to become like family guy some episodic comedy with zero story.

It turned bad after the Yagiyu arc.

Utsuro appeared

This, the series turn into crap when they try to make it way more serious than it's should

everywhere, it was total doo doo

By not being funny or interesting enough at the start to watch further.

This

Nips can't end a series well. Same is happening with SnK.

t. quarternary who hasn't actually seen it

Looks like someone got filtered lmao

Sorachi wasn't lying when he said he didn't know how to end Gintama.
But I'm still looking forward to whatever he does next. Although he is probably rich enough to never work again.

Too many pointless characters. It just kept adding more and more to their circle of friends that it got bloated with all the forced drama surrounding each of these new buddies or enemies turned pseudo-allies with comedy surrounding them that just wasn't funny. Kyubei was the last decent edition but she grew old and pointless quick.

Also its clear the Gorilla didn't put enough thought into the ending. Always postponing it with weak filler that lasted longer than it needed to. Also abandoning Shinpachi's own arc just made him relatively pointless as a character outside of being the boring straightman who only rarely had any time dedicated to his character which was basically "lonely otaku who is boring".

Although will say that it was still better than Bleach at the very least, but with duller art of course that never progressed much.

>went wrong
what did he mean by this?

Nothing, is just Yas Forums idiots that are a bunch of retards

This

I wouldn't be surprised if this series came back as a monthly series.

Meh, there's nothing more to tell.

Hope it's a new series. I don't want Gintama GT

Never really, loved how the last Arc was finally about Gintoki and everyone coming together to help him out in a pinch.
The last chapter was a beautiful mess, because of course it had to be.

Gintama is the mosty oddly satisfying shounen to watch/read once you kinda get into it it just clicks. And you are doing it wrong if you are only watching for the serious or the comedy stuff.

You mean Gintama Super

Never
The last three volumes were meh but the rest of the series is a masterpiece and whoever tells you otherwise is a brainlet

Utsuro. Fucking Utsuro. Gintama peaked at Shogun Assassination arc

>muh filter

Does Gintoki breed Tsukuyo?

No.

Utsuro, the first season its still a masterpiece though.

>i can't really provide any counter argument to save my life ,but thanks got i can sling this shitty buzzword

Any romance with any heroine at all? Gintoki or others, aside?

the epilogue arc (which is just another ending in disguise) makes fun of the whole shonen pairing thing
Kondou marries an actual gorilla, for example. for political reasons

Madao

It became a battle shounen.
Read Saiki instead.

What's the 2021 movie going to be about? Original story?

Saiki is objectively better

At some point in the past few seasons, they forced too much drama and sometimes comedy.

This was my favorite anime from episodes 25 all the way to the end of the FS arc, didnt enjoy the Raiikou (?) arc and the first few eps of the series in which they animated what they had skipped, I dropped it due to some commitments I had at the time, should I pick it up or will it ruin my memories of Gintama?

probably

...maybe

Gorilla never knew how to write drama and high-stakes well. The only times he succeeded at it were when he seamlessly blended it with the comedy he was good at and when he was revealing foreshadowed mysteries, and for this reason Rakuyo was where he peaked. All downhill afterwards

it was solid all the way to the end
but more serious arcs were too long, I would prefer more comedic aproach

The moment you came and watched it with your shit analytics and faggotry taste

When it tried to be serious

Yeah this, comedy is Gintama's strong point. Sadly the serious arcs are required watching due to all the characters introduced in them and the situations that are later referenced.

True

It never really 'went wrong' per se. It was decent up until the end. The problem was, was that they ditched the formula that made the series charming in the first place. One arc serious, which was usually longer than his normal arcs, and then a couple short arcs of pure shenanigans. Near the end though it was all serious with a short 2 episode reprieve and then went on to the next serious part.

The 22 episodes before the last 3 episodes. Rest is a masterpiece

Never. The anime is a masterpiece. Much better than the likes of which are loved by normalfags.

Attached: gintoki_f.jpg (1280x720, 87.91K)

All the previous serious arcs are still great though, it wasn't until this one extremely long running plot line that they keep insisting on extending mixed with barely any comedy came around.

At least with Bleach you remembered characters. With Gintama it was like "who's this again" and having to search the wiki

FMA is unironically better. And it's writers knows how to end a series.

what is that watermark you fucking nigger

funny memes from a funny anime!
