Let's hope MC is a loli.

The strongest loli grappler in the sorcerer kingdom uncovers a conspiracy involving a secret organization within the government known as "Nazarick" and learns of their dastardly plans to bring about world wide dystopia by brainwashing people into docile slaves via the nationally broadcast wrestling events. It is now up to the MC to defeat all of the evil wrestlers from Nazarick and out an end to their evil plans.

God I wish that were me.

What is Brain's "Genius Fighter" class? It isn't the usual "[insert job here] (Genius)" so it must be something different, right?

Well Renner has [Genius] too and it allows her to take on any job so it's safe to assume that Brain' [Genius Fighter] also allows him to __JOB____

But if he can take on any fighter job then what is the point in investing more levels into other fighter type jobs like Sword Saint and Sword Master?

to job harder

Think of it like perfect warrior or PA, you can use the skills or "jobs" but not with the same efficacy as someone trained in them

Weird that it's his first job listed then since that would mean that he started off just copying people. Maybe this is the job that let him surpass Gazef since all of Gazef's jobs seemed kind of shit in comparison.

Is it in the order you learn them though, or is it based on the level/rarity/strength of each skill? For example it makes more sense that he started copying people after his defeat to Gazef, after all nailclipper comes from stealing one of Gazef's moves.

I'm pretty sure it's in order you learn them based on how that's how it is ordered for everyone else and especially since that is how it is ordered for characters from Yggdrasil so it's basically confirmed that's how it's ordered.
Also as for when he copied Gazef, he actually did so before the series started but never used any of Gazef's skills because he wanted to win with his own. He initially only copied Gazef to gain a better understanding of his moves for the next time they fight but started integrating Gazef's skills into his moveset after meeting Sebas.

There is also the fact that as a bandit he likely copied any useful skills from anyone around him, it could be a fellow bandit or knights guarding a shipment or transport etc.

It's also interesting that he doesn't have the mercenary job like Gazef does despite having worked as a mercenary as well.

If he was so focused on learning everything around him not to use it but to understand it and combat it with his own style. I could see why it would be considered genius and not give him the merc levels.

But then how is it determined what jobs you get in the NW? It seems like level doesn't matter since there are low level characters with jobs that usually require a high level but are the prerequisite jobs required too? I wonder about this since his jobs seem to have a jump in power (or at least it seems that way based on the names) in that he goes from Genius Fighter to Sword Master to Sword Saint. Then again he might be a special case thanks to his Genius Fighter allowing him to copy other fighter classes.

Also if Genius Fighter can copy skills regardless of job (as long as it is a melee job) and level (since he could copy skills from Gazef who was a higher level) then does that mean that if he had survived his duel with Cocytus that he might be able to learn some of his skills too?
That'd be pretty interesting to see and is a shame we probably won't get to find out since Mare breaks his ice cube.

It'd be nice to get a book that explained how the job system worked in better detail and maybe a list of all the jobs like how we got an explanation for types of spells tacked onto the end of one of the bonus books.

He fights Cocytus? I never even knew, you damn guys and your reddit spoilers.

Sorry, user. In the end he gets frozen and Cocytus plans to add him to his collection but Mare (supposedly according to some anons) accidentally pushes on and breaks the ice block containing Brain which kills him [/ spoiler]

I like how each guardian has important works to do. Especially Shalltear seems pretty important right now. Makes me happy they all get make full use of their abilities. But it seems like Nazarick is is desperate need of manpower.
Just trying to keep the current territories stable already require all hands on deck. Imagine the future where there is still hundreds of nations to take over. Maybe is better to just wipe half of the world population to minimize the troubles

Nope. Is was a fake spoiler. Cocytus manage to preserve it as his collection.
Is a dumb spoiler anyway. We are taling about Mare here. You really think he could actually trip? Him? The most capable person in Nazarick is Mare. He might act meek and shy, but hiding behind that facade is something else entirely. Mare is the most scariest of them all.

Well the lack of manpower is probably why they're trying to train Ijaniya to take over the espionage part so there is less to worry about. Though they should do that with more groups, Ainz is just too reluctant to rely on outsiders. Though it's for that reason that is surprising that he decided to have Ijaniya work for them and even get Demiurge and the Hanzos to train them.

Nazarick is bound to get all the secret organizations working for them in the dark.
Zurrernorn and Corpus of the Abyss will probably will soon join.Nazarick is a safe heaven for any organization that operate in the dark and need some protection and funding.

>“-the faults of a subordinate is the responsibility of their superior. I concur with that statement.”
>“But, that proverb was said by a leader who wished to shoulder the burden of their subordinate, it was not meant as a way for subordinates to shift blame onto their superiors.

Ainz is pretty awesome sometimes with his lines.

Exactly. And it is this that will lead into the sequel series

So far of what's been translated to english has been hilarious, god Philip is so retarded it's painful for my sides

What i don't get is that it freaking took them 4 days to report the attack. Just what the hell is HR even doing?

There is alread overlord 2 and 3

Probably 8F trying to decide who has to report what happened.

What was that bit with Albedo? Was she trying to lead Ainz into agreeing to something?

She was afraid that Ainz would blame her which is also why she kept trying to get Ainz to punish Hilma as a scapegoat

What a bitch.

...oh wait.

Nice to know the Sorcerers Kingdom has a active army now. Wonder how/why those poor mooks enlisted.

Attached: 1571945944764.jpg (700x700, 280.98K)

Ainz had been creating undead non-stop. Of course they have a standing army. Cocytus did conquer the Great lake and Ainz took the alberion hills. There is bound to be many soldiers

Well, it's one thing to have a army of undead. It's another to have living beings you enlist and train. Why did those guys join? Do they get any benefits? How are they trained and divided? So many questions.

Well, is not like they can suddenly change jobs. The tribes Nazarick conquered in the Tob Forest, Great lake, Alberion Hills and the Mountains each has their own warriors. Now that they belong to Nazarick, most of these tribes warriors would have to join the army. You don't even have to pay them. Since all these demi-humans tribes works for food.

The humans i think must be from E-rantel. A city should still have some soldiers left behind when Nazarick took over. Is not like they could go anywhere else, since they live in E-rantel. People like workers, bodyguards, mercenaries etc need to survive too. Also i think it was once mention that in the Katze plain a town was build there to help cleaning up the undead. Since Ainz took over that place, a lot of people would be jobless if they don't join the army.

In medieval time soldiers getting enough fed and a place to live is basically already a pretty good deal.

>In medieval time soldiers getting enough fed and a place to live is basically already a pretty good deal.
I thought they were all in for rape and pillage.

when was an army aside from their undead mentioned? the only non undead they have are the human spies from ijaniya currently being trained to be up to nazarick standards. Ainz already mentioned that he would only use undead to attack when speaking to Ainzach

only in fanta-C

We're still in the Middle East, user. I doubt Maru ever even planned to show NW Americas.

How effective would his ultimate move Nail Clipper be against Cocytus though?

when is the next part
?

ded thred

Reason Maruyma doesn't quit his wageslave Salaryman job is so he doesn't forget how to write Momonga as a character.

No, it's because he loves being a wagie. He is a thoroughbred npc who can't break the conditioning even when he recognizes the faults of the system

Train suplex.

This. Albedo keeps underestimating how “merciful” (reasonable) Ainz is unless you directly offend him.

Wait for it, part 7 was just released not too long ago

Yeah I just want ch1 to be done already though. Especially with how close to done it is. He could have just finished it and taken another break and I would have been fine with waiting for ch2.

Shouldn't you edit the site? The google doc was deleted.

Is there another LN that's come out or something?

Thanks, removed the document.

Using google for one minute is too much for you?

It was more to bait link posting, but whatever

Yes. It is the sequel to the old Overlord series, Overthrow. It follows a young girl who plans to enter the Sorcerer Kingdom's new wrestling tournament with aspirations to become the greatest grappler in the New World.

It's literally right above your post.

>link posting
Fanfic is a few posts above. What more do you want?

I would be totally alright with that.

I'd probably read it tbqh

>What more do you want?
It fully translated.
Guess I'll come back in a month or so.

How long has Ainz been in the New World?

I think it was at least between 2-3 years. It had been a year around the time he conquered the empire, some time between that and him saving the Holy Kingdom, then one year of Ainz stuck doing paperwork with Albedo, and some more time between that and this volume.
So I'm leaning more toward 3 years especially since he had enough time to conquer Ijaniya between volumes.

>young girl
It's an amnesiac Clem

>people are STILL going on about toblerone

Philip probably has levels in Idiot (Genius)
