Reminder that "best" is largely subjective.
Isekais as a whole are series centered around self-fullfilment powertrip escapism so the way to judge what's a "best protag" in one of those is different from others.
Michio is pretty based, but he and SH falls into the typical problems of isekais like Leon or Slime. If you read the novels, they just go on about leveling up with cheats and winning. Not much to stop them from progressing and power levels just keep escalating to match them.
