Just caught up in this manga. I'm impressed how well it's keeping up the story telling. Definitely the best cooking manga I've read (if it is one).
Question on Kabru's interpretation of Misurn's story. Did Misurn actually get his wishes granted or was it all just an illusion in his mind? When he was found by other canaries, they just found him near dead in the place where he met the demon, with everything unchanged. So did the demon really wipe away his loved ones and friends or were those just illusions?
Obviously the information we have is unreliable since this is all Kabru's understanding of what he was told. But does anyone have any ideas?
My guess is the actual demon is the book that sissel holds and it's calling Marcille.
You mean how they were cut? Yeah, he obviously got fucked up? But what about his entire dream world, the girlfriend and friends he brought to the dungeon? Was it really them or all in the mind? Because the dungeon doesnt look any different from before and after aside from age and some overgrown plants.
There should be monsters and chimeras and such but the other elves were just there.

I'm pretty sure that page with the black demon goat breaking the surface was not real, just a depiction of what could happen. The elves told Misurn it didnt have enough of his desires and just disappeared.

The winged lion right now doesnt seem to be the demon. It's being implied it is but it could be a red herring. My theory is it's the book sissel found. Or it could be the book and the lion. It's implied the lion has been around since before the dungeon though?

That's what Kabru is thinking. Nobody in this manga is a reliable narrator. Which makes the mystery fun. I'm sure that Kabru missed something in Misurn's tale

It's very likely she is a half-elf. Her ears are slightly more human-like than other elves in the manga, and her father died when she was "young". Considering how elves age she most likely just outlived her human father
