Is Punpun a good person?

Which punpun. There's 3 of them.

Yes

No, but neither does that make him a bad person. He's a coward, that's all.

To say that the things you've done were a "different person" is the coward's answer.

define "good"

Yes. He did nothing wrong.
Other than being fucking horny but I guess some boys are like that

He started out pure like everyone else, but life fucked him up along the way. His relationship with Aiko was absolutely destructive but both got drawn to each other out of being messed up in the first place. It's good he got a chance to redeem himself but we only see his darkest times.

>I guess some boys are like that
You mean all boys

For a Jap, he has really good teeth

He’s a horny person

Yes

No,just like most of us.

I think he's more so someone who gradually became more detached with his own life
as a result of ultimately half assing his efforts or giving in to anxiousness to really do anything.
He never did anything legitimately wrong until he killed Aiko's mom.
He was just so dissatisfied with the results of his entire life
that he mistook behaving in an extreme nature contrary to his passiveness as liberation

It was self-defense

I'm still assblasted over punpun wallowing in self pity instead
of pursuing Sachi with an ambition and owning that mangaka ass.

The mom was like crippled to the floor. Punpun could've slammed her aside and take Aiko away.
There's no way the mom could've even chase them beyond the living room.

Read it one go last week and searched the archives for the story time threads here
Was a shame there wasnt a final volume dump

>The mom was like crippled to the floor
Wrong read it again
If that was the case then it would've been too easy and Aiko wouldnt been stabbed in the first place

Oh I remembered it wrong. I retract what I said earlier.
Punpun didn't do anything wrong until he starts becoming abusive to Aiko

Why didn't he face legal repercussions for everything with Aiko and her mom? Plenty of people saw his face along the way.

He did, speedreader-kun.

>spoiler
That was fucking weird, like he was suddenly possed

>Possessed
Sorry been sleepless lately

He didn't kill Aiko's mom, you fucking speedreader.

No, he was an asshole

No he didn't. He never went to jail or anything.

I read somewhere that Aiko took the fall by making it look like a murder-suicide, but that doesn't really make any sense since he was seen lugging a corpse around in broad daylight and they were seen together a bunch of times.

Is this a legit joke because I don't see the humor

>Punpun didn't do anything wrong until he starts becoming abusive to Aiko
his first mistake was abandoning that manga or book project he got with that chick

He just knocked her out. Aiko actually killed her, then attempted to frame him, but eventually admits what she did out of guilt.

I want to runaway and disappear, anons.

Oh okay then I admit I'm a turbo speed reading faggot
My stance on that was when punpun did something inexcusably morally wrong,
not so much on other mistakes like bailing on the project or failing to call the police and paramedics

>Aiko actually killed her, then attempted to frame him
Huh?

Aiko and Punpun are antagonists to the romance genre, this is why two broken people can't be happy together, if you want to make another's person life happy you need to first be able to be yourself a happy person, if two unhappy people get together only destructive behavior awaits them. Anyone that read this title and that projected so much on Punpun, is better off alone.

A man who doesn't respect his mother is no man at all, so no.

punpun is just what others force him to be

I was rethinking on how things could have been better, but his character is just programmed for that outcome, but if for a miracle he was not fucked up beyond belief he could just:

NOT SIGN THE FUCKING MAIL
call the police immediately and report self-defence with Aiko as a eye witness and victim, her mom was already in shady business
turn down running away and just examine how her life is and try to little by little right things up

But what do you expect of someone that thinks with his dick, Punpun deserved it, Aiko didn't

Not at all. Honestly, he's scum.

Sort of can't blame him, though

The stab was pretty much a death sentence to her already and things got fucking worse

Punpun is obviously a terrible person, if you disagree you need better values

I don't remember it going down like that. At the very least I remember he strangled her so there's attempted murder

rofl sachi is an antagonist
she forces him to live on for her own self interests

Can someone explain this manga to me?I saw it in a store..is the main character a joke?like,do people in-universe realize what being he is?
The art is good but it contrasts so much with the bird

he strangled her and hit her with a blunt object, later Aiko stabbed her, IIRC later she confessed to him about thinking about letting him take the guilt, since practically the story would only frame Punpun, but then gave up on it

very average socially anxious kid who's drawn as a bird so people can easily self insert and emphasize with the characters, which is confirmed by the creator himself

he doesn't have to be but he tries his damnedest to be depending on his circumstances and i think that counts for something

What does he do that's so terrible?

Would any of this even hold up in (japanese) court? There is no proof that Aiko did the killing blow

But Punpun isn't alone in the end

Nobody is going to believe they had to kill that crippled woman in self-defense.

Nobody else sees him as a bird.

He's a real human being

>IIRC later she confessed to him about thinking about letting him take the guilt, since practically the story would only frame Punpun
but punpun was the one who suggested to her in the first place then he would take the blame and she keep insisting that she did the final blow to her mother, Punpun knows that it was a lie

eh?

Punpun wouldn't have been able to claim self-defence, because Aiko tampered with the body by repeatedly stabbing it into a bloody mess. There's no way you could claim that as self defence, and she was planning to make it seem like he did everything so he couldn't rely on her as a witness. His big mistake was answering the door to the mailman.

>he got to fuck his Uncle's hot girlfriend
He peaked pretty early in life.

>anons keep saying back then that his aunt raped him
punpun literally wanted to get laid back then even the narration in that arc mentioned it

>Punpun deserved it, Aiko didn't
elaborate on that

I mean they aren't legally wrong. He was underaged at the time so she statutoried the fuck out of him.

if you look at the page he was crying like a little bitch

If I knew this was the only time I was going to get to fuck her, I'd cry too.

The sum of Punpun's choices balances proportionately to his life's outcome.
The sum of Aiko's choices balances disproportionately to her life's outcome.
