>Tens of thousands dead >Conflict in S1 was entirely avoidable >Military strategy is all over the place >Armor is literally worthless against even the smallest arrow or dagger >Geography means less than army size >Castle defenses consist of easily routed archers that don't notice the battering ram until it's at the gate >Valkyrie best girl
Imagine being some random grunt during this shit fest. Why even show up to work.
>publisher and others go all in on your series >mobage, anime, merch >everything going well >roastie cuck rape shit >it tanks into the abyss and no one gives a shit anymore kek
NTR was a phase but some people never figured that shit out.
Cameron King
>Conflict in S1 was entirely avoidable That's the point, that Siluca's plan was kind of stupid.
Thomas Murphy
No, her whoring herself out was completely pointless. Hell, pretty much everything she did was completely retarded.
Levi Smith
Was it because she was an incompetent leader or because no one is allowed to outshine the MC and his girl?
Christian Perry
>be genius mage who conquers the continent >still be blindsided by a guy honestly saying "I love you" Damn it Siluca, why do you have to be such a teenager?
Joseph Williams
I think it's a tradition that every anime has to have a terrorist or murderer or something that the heroes become BFFs with.
Colton Turner
some lady NTRs her love interest with a psychopathic maniac so he will fight for her country she also just casually kills hundreds of thousands of innocent people and even old friends and in the end she is forgiven too
this show is such a clusterfuck of a series, even if that dumb shit didn't ever happen
FUCK why did op have to remind me this series exists I can't believe I wasted my time with it
It was a long time since I enjoyed anime as much as I've enjoyed this. Still stunned at how bad the reception was both here and in Japan.
Grayson Thomas
Didn't the maniac knock her up too?
Jacob Clark
This show actually wasn't that bad, it scratched my war fantasy itch that hasn't really been satisfied since Utawarerumono.
Christian Brooks
The reception was only bad because of that controversial fuck-in-the-moonlight scene and the obscene amounts of >quality in certain episodes. That being said, the series was carried by its characters, not the plot. It didn't overly rely on stock characters and archetypes to fill the cast and that alone made it more memorable than other seasonal filler shows.
Plenty of time now if you're in quarantine. It's one of my favorite shows. Was also one of the earliest anime I watched alongside Yas Forums, still have images saved from those threads.
