Serious question, do you people think this series is actually good? I think it's a bunch of half-assed ideas that weren't constructed properly at all. Shirou is damn pointless. The animals live in their own society.....but choose to look human and nonsensically have powers to look human which is nonsense even for fiction. I can understand the Tanuki and Kitsune having magical powers but these normal denizens? What a bunch of poorly written trash. Yeah animals have no business pretending to be human in their animal only society.

And Michiru and her human friend are blatantly Mary Sues. Let me get this straight the normal animals are helpless but the humans pretending to be furries have magical powers and energy attacks like something out of Dragon Ball? Bullshit. Fucking bullshit.

And another reason Michiru comes off as annoying is her insistence on looking like an animal. It feels like the story is just having her defy the animal culture and she's changing t hings to make it mainstream. So while the animals pretend to be human Michiru is trying to cement that they should be proud of being animals and should look the way that they naturally do. However this theme is wonky as hell because Michiru is just faking it. She's a human at her core. This subplot should have been given to Shirou who speaks of being proud of being a beastman.

Another bit that annoyed me is how Michiru randomly learns how to be a human just by wishing it. So far this anime is complete trash. I cannot be the only one who is not impressed. Don't know what else to say but after watching those six episodes it feels like this anime is complete shit. So many lackluster characters and forced bullshit that feels like it wasn't properly thought out.

Bros, should I watch the 6 episodes now and have to wait for rest, or just watch it weekly as it airs?

The writing is kind of shit. Michiru says she hates Beastmen meaning the male sex in the second episode's ending. However Michiru is a cunt because the villains of that episode were women, the women mafia. Michiru lays blame on men, but ignores female crime. And come the next episode she no longer hates men. The writing is shit.

Is this pasta? Whatever I'll bite. Yes our protags are currently op. It's why they used to be human, they're probably test subjects for a super beast human that has all the animals. Beast form is a sign of high emotion usually, when they're chill they just look like humans. Michiru is seemingly different, she has to use her powers to produce the appearance of a human, and it's probably a bit taxing on her (I'm not super happy about that part but I hope she'll have more human moments later.) This is primarily a story about a girl coming to terms with a new environment and growing as a person so yeah she's the right protagonist. All of this was well thought out and basically, you are fucking retarded.

So far Michiru is my favourite Trigger girl protag. Not an annoying idiot from LWA and not as hotheaded as Ryu but at the same time very genki. I like her.
With that said I really wish this show had more focus on Shirou instead. He seems more interesting in terms of that he has some dark history behind him and I would rather want to learn more about him.
So far the only thing he did so far was to kick asses and standing menacingly.
Also want for th eromantic plot between him and Michiru to start already.
I want to see emotins between them. I want to see Shirou's doubts where he is torn between being a proud beastman and wanting to stick to a person who is actually human whom he hates.
Same thing happening with Michiru with her starting to doubt if the beastmen decease she has is not actually a decease but something else and maybe she was even lucky yo get it because she has met Shirou.

We're only 6 episodes in, user. They've clearly set up a good history/backstory involving Shirou and Ginrou that will be explained later on.

As for a potential romance between him and Michiru, I don't see it happening. His feelings towards her will ultimately be of respect and admiration once all is said and done as she's going to bring about real improvement for the beastmen which is all Shirou truly wants.
