I remember loving this one scene years ago, in part because of how I related to it. The script is pretty bad for the most part though, which is a shame because Narita is one of my favorite Precure writers.
The one nice thing about the movie is how Saki and Mai really are the dual protagonists of it, where as both Max Heart movies (the first more than the second) had Nagisa as the main protagonist.

What a cheap-ass movie. It was most definitely rushed. All the ST's felt really out of character. What was going on at Toei at the time, to many projects at once? And what was up with those jarring 4th wall breaking moments? I'm glad they put their efforts into the ST movie to compensate.
The only things I'll remember from this movie is the AkiYu homo moments and Lala in a Kirapati outfit.

I haven't seen this version of Ganbalance in such a long time that I got oddly emotional over it.
With 50 minute runtime a rather unimaginative movie world, it felt more like an extended TV episode than it did a proper movie. Kind of the opposite problem of MH1, which felt like it went through a checklist of generic kids movie elements. MH2 is clearly best of this current rotation.
