The problem was that he wasn't planning to meet Tsukasa. His suspicions about Tsukasa being brainwashed and decision to prioritize Satoru just reinforced Tsukasa's feelings of abandonment. Even if he did still care about all of them, Tsukasa was absolutely right about his favoritism towards Satoru. Telling your ex that you wish them all the happiness in the world doesn't change the fact that you're eloping with some new skank.

The problem is that they can never get any of them alone, and the company keeps the magicians separated on purpose, at least until now. They were all raised separately so that they would distrust one another and have conflicting interests, that way they would never work together to desert the company. Now if anyone wanted to run away, they would have to do it alone which would be impossible because as soon as, say, fish starts to hypnotize one chink, the other chink in the room would just shoot him. Plus, keep in mind that the company kept doraemon on a leash by making him think he'd get to see matasa ojichan
