But who is it going to be on Kengan side? We know about every fighters in the roster, except for nuMasaki and 8th Fang (inb4 Adam) and non of them really fits the criteria for a traitor apart from the latter two. And I don't think it's possible for Metsudo to pick another flop Fang 2nd time in a row (assuming Yumigahama really is a traitor).

Kengan puts a lot of emphasis on experience, no one is going to be peaking at 25. The top 8 in the tournament were all late 20's or older except for Cosmo. Their mean age was about 35 when I do the math and many of them were still getting stronger, even Kuroki seems to still be honing his craft in his 50s.

That remains to be demonstrated imo. Akoya knew that Gaoh had pulled his punches so probably was somewhat prepared for the strike Gaoh was going to use.

Ohma doesn’t really seem the type to teach and if he works with anyone it should probably be Ryuki

I would think that Gaoh style might be better suited for killing people but Niko style was already mixed with the Kaiwan style which is supposed to be a martial art for assassinations. Also it’s still a big assumption that Ryuki’s grandpa is actually Mukaku.

Yes, but as we saw from Ohma, it doesn't really look like style specialized in assassination or anything (Gaoh's was more obvious in this regard as we saw from one hit wonder shit like Chifukuryuu and its history), well, at least not the 'good' Niko's version.

Of course, but Occam's razor and all that. Any particular reason why it shouldn't be Mukaku? We know he disappeared after the massacre in forest that most likely happened due to the worm's meddling. I could totally see why he wanted to get back at them and is using Ryuki to do so.

Mukaku looked old as fuck in the flashbacks. Given that he fighting on the inside for 30 years he looked like he was like 70 years old or something when he started raising the Nikos. Give like 10 years to train them, some indeterminate amount of time between the forest incident and Niko approaching Gensai, and then 20 years after that he’d have to be at least 100 years old and he‘s 1) apparently still alive 2) was beating Ryuki worse than Akoya did in his 80s-90s at the very least. Maybe Mukaku is just different than anyone else but I have to imagine he’d look more like Metsudo and Erioh than still being a unit.

KA didn’t have too many one sided stomps but there were a couple. Who in the tournament do you think will stomp/get stomped? Depending on the format of the tournament I can see Eddie destroying someone. Hard for me to imagine Okubo not getting wrecked but I don’t think they’d do that to him again.

Agito is defnitely getting owned. Some top-tier needs to get destroyed to establish Purgatory as a real threat. Kuroki ain't here, Ohma, Ryuki and Cosmo have protagonist powers and Raian has the Kure subplot to solve. Agito is free to be shat on. I don't think he'll be one-shot, but he'll be toyed with.
