Why did to recommend this to me? Pure trash forced melodrama shit, you told me it was superior to anything else in the industry you said it was a masterpiece.
Fuck you
It is a masterpiece. The problem is with you.
filtered. though to be fair pmmm is not that special, its Rebellion
'Tis so long as you ignore Rebellion
>pmmm is not that special, its Rebellion
you might be a moron. Rebellion can't reach praiseworthy status if you pmmm isn't anything special, because you're making a retarded leap
Masterpiece. How did you not like it? It has everything I could ask for in an anime
I didn't say it wasn't special, I just said it wasn't THAT special. Rebellion however does live up to the masterpiece title.
Rebellion and pmmm were both great. It's so good even shonen normies liked it
Newfag here. What does filtered even mean? I can't see any option to filter posts except to hide them.
ew. I think PMMM is decent at best, and came here to agree with OP, now after seeing your post, I just want to shit on you instead.
>these abhorrent posts
You guys are just having a laugh right?
Tell me these aren't sincere real posts
>another user just wants to argue episode
Yawn. Change the channel already
Is that the American cover? Looks generic as fuck.
Guys will we get something like this ever again? Why does the whole industry seems to not even trying to surpass it?
I didn't like it because Mami sayaka madoka and kyoko were one dimensional and generic. Even Homura wasn't fleshed out well
Rebellion was bad and the only people who liked it are Homura self-inserts so that says all you need to know about how far you need to stay away from it in order to not ruin the series for yourself. SHAFT never delivers on movies ever except maybe Kizu.
Darling in the Franxx tried and almost succeeded. The manga adaptation may do it, like how FMA brotherhood made a masterpiece
Stop shitposting
Really? I was surprised at how well they were fleshed out honestly. I didn't think it was possible to do so much in so few episodes.
The first four made perfect sense on why they were generic and one dimensional. This is a span of 4 weeks and all based on Homura perspective. This is why I loved rebellion. It really added a lot to the characters and how everything tied together so well.
Are you the same nigga from about two days ago who really liked Steins;Gate and some faggot was hyping you up to watch Madoka?
I am not even shitposting, I watched Madoka when it aired 9 years ago and it was one if its not the best experiance of my whole life, I tried to forget it, I learned Japanese, tried visual novels, manga, anime etc but nothing gave me the same feeling ever again
In few months it will be the 10th anniversary, and can't help but be nostalgic
Nice LARP faggot.
is he still playing with Toys?
I agree, I found the anime boring as shit and gave up after like, 4 episodes.
Rebellion was garbage that shit on everything (except style) that made PMMM amazing
I seriously can't find any faults in Madoka.
>Great music
>Very interesting art style
>Amazing plot and storytelling
>Memorable characters
>Satisfying ending and sequel
>you told me it was superior to anything else in the industry
That's not a very high bar.
I think, yes.
Rebellion was a masterpiece that took everything Madoka did well and did it even better
Because nobody here likes power ups crying little boys and screaming . we like little girls and suffering. Hence Clannads hiragashi school days and other sad little girl stories.
That's why Yas Forums likes kill la kill, heavens feels, claymore, all of those are just girls suffering
These.
based based based..........based
upvoted!
It was a masterpiece (you) zoomer brainlet. Fuck off.
And don't forget to subscribe!
>Homura: "I created a world where everyone can be happy and the incubators are rightly punished"
>Sayaka: "I fucking hate you, you evil bitch"
What was her fucking problem?
Only one who is happy in Homura's world is Homura herself.
Even Sayaka is happy.
how do you know that
Watch the movie?
well, no. i only watched 5 minutes of the first episode of season 1
The face of sadness
Kek, your life must be mediocre if a show for kids is your biggest experience
>gif
second best anime of all time (the first being Evangelion)
"Ignorance is a bliss"
They are like birds in a cage who have never seen outside world.
One of the points of the series is that despite all that shit that was happening to her, Madoka was still able to make a wish and become content with her decission.
Read the doujins.
Madoka had only two options at the time.
>sacrifice herself
>allow Homura, her family, everyone to die
It wasn't much of a choice.
What's the best experiance in your life user?
Even if you give someone the finest wine in the world if their taste is shit they will be unable to appreciate it.
Yes. That is the shie I'm talking about.
Yet, Madoka was able to accept her situation and create a wish that she could live with.
Life is shit. And it is only up to us what we make of it. But ruining other people's lives to make yourself better is not a good thing. And Homura did just that. She ruined everyone else's wishes to make her own little happy world.
The original series had like one maybe two decent characters (madoka and sayaka). Rebellion actually made homura not a bland one-dimensional character and thus it was worthwhile to the series.
So if a guy had a gun to your family and asked if you wanted to die in their place, and you said yes, would you then get mad at the paramedics that come to resuscitate you because 'you made a choice that you could live with'?
They would resuscitate me by killing my family, you mean?
Yeah, no.
The game has 50 amazing characters.
PMMM = Masterpiece
Rebellion = Divine Revelation
In 100 Years People will be Talking about Rebellion in the same way they are now talking about the Odyssee
It was better than your averga anime. Rebellion was fucking amazing thou.
The problem with Madoka is that most people are just plainly too low IQ to understand it.
You probably can‘t even follow the basic setting by the end of rebellion.
A dead giveaway for that is when someone thinks: „B-But Homura fucked up the whole world!!!“
If you think that then you didn‘t even understand THE SETTING. There was never a „world that could have been fucked up“ to begin with. If you don‘t get even this, then it makes sense that you don‘t understand the things that are build on top of that.
The next level after that or perhaps an equally retarded pitfall is: „Madoka is just dark and edgy. (Lel that’s cool/ok edgelord)“
Try measuring how cynical vs idealistic a show is. Madoka is by FAR the most idealistic show there is.
It’s basically a show about love and friendship overcoming the harshest and most hopeless circumstances possible. Madokas edgy parts in the end of ends are there in order to show that there is no wall to high to overcome.
It’s a triple bluff: it’s a show about love and friendship masking as an edgy show which pretends to be about love and friendship on the surface.
If you don‘t get that, then you don’t understand Madoka.
Those are two fundamental basics that I often see people fail at.
it's unironically horrible
Yeah it's the simplest thing. "lol edgy magical girls, how unoriginal, madoka sux" Really people? Madoka is not even close to edgy. No one with over room temp iq praises it for being dark and grim, because it's not. That is an aspect of the show enjoyed by people who have never seriously watched magical girl anime and think anything more serious than a perfect happy ending and a scraped knee is "subverting the genre". I wouldn't even say it has edgy parts. And the "only good for shock value" arguments are foolish as well. The moment Mami made her emotional connection with Madoka in the charlotte labyrinth I realized she was going to die within 5 minutes, it was expertly foreshadowed in my opinion.
