Do you guys store your anime after you download/watch it? How big is your anime folder? I started archiving only recently and I'm at 75gb

Used to have 100+ gigs back in 2010 maybe.
0 now.

I only keep shit I liked enough that I know I'll want to show it to other people, mostly movies and OVA's, so my folder is a nice and tidy 22Gb

with compression?

I delete the weekly releases and archive the BD releases

I buy blu ray because I'm not poor Euroshitter

Very close to 1TB.
So I'm almost a novice.

im at 470 gb, but i deleted some stuff like a week ago, so who knows.

About 1.2TB

Around 600gb. Streaming isn't really an option to me since my country have a shitty internet connection.

>streaming means you don't use internet
sasuga third worldler streamtard

4TB and I'm still not hoarder level. Goal is 20TB+.

This

I delete everything I watch

4.5 TB. I only delete shows when I drop them.

Why do people flex their storage sizes? What's the point of storing so much garbage in the first place. Just stream and live your life like a chad.

>Haha rely on an online paid subscription service bro

>streaming
>chad

Read his post again, retard.

It's currently 551 GB on my desktop + about 200 GB on my Thinkpad.
Generally speaking, I only keep BD releases. Everything seasonal gets deleted after I watch it.

deleted most shit except some of my favorites

i deleted them in the past times, and now i just use stremio

Same, it's completely useless to hold onto it. Realistically how often are you gonna rewatch anything? Might rewatch a couple of your favorite shows once or twice. And it's all so easily accessible now anyways

you know when you see a video it is just getting stored in your cache?
just download it and delete it after you're done retard.
better quality and no ads or bullshit interface, and you can pause it and watch later without internet even

Used to archieve everything, then realized I never get back to 99% of it. Hell, I didn't even watch like half the shit I downloaded. Now I just stream shows/movies I actually give a damn

>he thinks he's a chad for streaming
>gov't says hey better drop that quality or we'll investigate the shit out of you guys

Stop being poor.

>rely on an in browser video player
>can't configure any of it besides video quality and playback speed
>color banding and streaming artifacts out the asshole
>mediocre video bit rate
>majority upload re-encoded horriblesubs rips instead of fansubbed BDs
why?

700 GB: including series, OVAs, and movies.

I just watch and delete.

Convenience

that's fine then.

Because you can watch it on your phone and on the go without any prep beforehand.

>watching anime on your phone and on the go
What kind of fucking normalfags browse this board now?

>he can't afford a home media setup or even a second bedroom
lol

Based retard

I don't personally care anymore. People made a big deal of archiving and having tons of shit downloaded back in 2011 but I don't give a shit about that anymore.

currently at 24TB.
I like being able to open and watch any anime that I'd want to whenever.

I run a server for my friends and I that's about to hit 8TB. Hoping to upgrade to a NAS soon so I can hit like 50TB or some shit

12TB WD hard drive.

My "collection" folder is 100 GB, the entire anime partition is 500 GB, for the backlog, currently watching and seasonal stuff.
I only keep my very favourite things which I also plan on rewatching.

I was expecting some dumbshit streamfag

Nothing wrong watching anime on your phone as long its not streaming. My phone can play Hi10p/H265 just fine.

Well yeah, how else could I seed it?

Well yeah, how else could I sneed it?

I hoarded 1TB in a week in preparation of the Corona lockdown.
Typically .
At the end of a season I normally have 500GB which is also the size of my video SSD.

It's probably only 80% anime, but my video folder is 723gb

Somewhere between 3 and 4 TB. I keep it all on a NAS, because it simplifies a lot of things. The NAS has a torrent client so I don't have to worry about keeping a computer on to seed it. I can start the download or access the files remotely from anywhere with an internet connection, and use a media server to make playback easy from anywhere in my home.

949gb so far after deleting most of it

Why is everyone on Yas Forums so rich? I can't even afford a second HDD on my mom's allowance.

About 4TB. It's hard work finding the highest quality version of any given anime, especially if you're factoring in subtitle and typesetting quality. Once I have it, I want to make sure I have it forever regardless of what may happen to the torrent.

Shuck easystores; it's cheap as hell

normalfag Cancer

I only have one HDD as well.
Everything else is SSD.

my seasonal folder is bigger than that, all the folders combined are 2-3 TB

seconding this

could you spare some TBs to a poorfag pls

dude a 3tb drive is like 50 dollars

about ~7 TB across 4 HDDs

Recently i just bought 2tb wd for 40usd

>>my seasonal folder is bigger than that,
With 1.4GB per episode, 75GB is only 54 so OP is only watching 4 series.

I keep each episode of every seasonal anime I watch each season and then just delete them all when the season is over and make new folders for the new season. I don't really know why I do this, I never watch previous episodes after the next episode comes out. I guess it kinda helps to keep track of which episodes I've already watched so I don't miss anything or download the same episode twice, but that's never really been a major problem.

I should probably just use Crunchyroll. But I won't.

just watch it on youtube friend

I don't even have one SSD, and I think either my graphics card or my one HDD will break soon.
Yes.

Attached: 1575767214565.jpg (640x640, 29.98K)

I don't even watch anime anymore.

How large is your manga collection? 100GB for me.

time for a job buddy

I wish I had 10TB I want to hoard fucking everything well not everything but a lot of stuff not only anime

I have 2 tbs and am slowly filling it up, almost everything is in hardsub mp4 encode besides my favorite shows that are worth the extra space

>lol u care about a few extra hundred mb's of storage over quality
>most anime that have 1080p formats are upscaled
Pick one.

After all these years I still cant believe how autist some people can be downloading and everything. I am not talking about some, I mean EVERYTHING. Geez I keep around 5 or 6 per season but everything? I have standards with some playback merit to them but some dont care and just download it. These people arent archiving it for Yas Forums or some backup so shows wont suffer forever lost episodes like Dr. Who but rather just being an mindless autist to download them all.

I only keep around my favourites for seeding purposes.
