Good chapter, no stand out huge jokes but still a decent romp.

the face reminds me of The Model
William Brooks
There's a huge stand out joke in mashle this week so there is something to fill in the gap.
Juan Gutierrez
and the last page. Now that Rena Haze is destroying small businesses, is it safe to say that she truly is the main villain? Hard to say, but we're at least not axed yet
the mega for anyone catching up: mega.nz
Parker Adams
When Dancing Midgets got that CP 6 chapters before the axe, did it look like it was ending at the time?
Brody Ortiz
>Bowlcut asshole named Chara
...is this a goddamn reference?
Jaxon Foster
I think next week's CP is due to the fan contest results being published so it doesn't mean anything unfortunately since they'd have it scheduled for a while
Gavin Reed
It was at the end of a tournament arc that lasted around a third of the manga's lifespan. We all thought there would be another arc after that but it just ended once that tournament concluded.
For what it's worth Samon-kun also got a CP twelve chapters before it ended, and that was a ways into its final arc too.
Angel Powell
Special curse-grade user Rena Haze strikes again
Colton Phillips
I'm gonna be honest, I'll take the news of at least 6 locked chapters as a net positive as this point. I wasn't hoping for this much a month ago when the first volume dropped.
Josiah Phillips
Each volume has 8-9 chapters in it, so at the very least it's going to reach David-kun's length.
Dylan Morgan
Good chapter, I actually like how much this manga has strayed from Mitama actually exorcising (which if I remember right he hasn’t done since chapter 3) and just has Rena befriend the spirits.
Luke Nguyen
there's only so much comedy you can wring out of "guy tries to do thing, but he's bad at it and retarded." Someone in another thread compared early Mitama to Zenitsu, which is 100% spot on, and the reason the early chapters suck. I'd take special grade curse use Rena over Mitama actually trying to exorcise spirits any day
Daniel Campbell
axe soon
Levi Murphy
He kind of tries to exorcise the detective's grandpa but he never passes on. His mentor and BODY tried too but it didn't really work either.
Camden Young
It shifted the main character and support character status (it's basically what happened with Dr. Stone for a recent example).
It was very subtle change, but it really paid off. It went from
>Mitama does stupid shit while being a pro. Audience surrogate reacts how she is supposed to.
to
>Rena Haze destroys preconceptions with FACTS and LOGIC. Pretentious professional is dumbfounded.
It opens the door to much more comedic situations.
Aiden Ortiz
>It was very subtle change
What impressed me the most is that it happens as early as the first Yuko chapter and I didn't even notice it the first time around. It wasn't until the second Yuko chapter that I realized that Rena was generating a lot of the jokes and Mitama's crybaby gag was actually the reaction to them.
Leo Wright
I don't see any depressed ghosts wearing top hats
Daniel Ramirez
Old news.
Leo Bailey
I refuse to ever read Mashle on the basis of it being the most obvious rip-off I've seen in a long time.
Logan Garcia
Bummer. If you could get past the blatant Harry Potter/ONE influences then it's a guaranteed weekly chuckle.
Ayden Rogers
Mitama and Mashle gave me around the same number sensible chuckles this week and actually managed to give the asshole rival a bit of depth. Good job.
Camden Baker
Mashle had one of its strongest chapters this week and it still didn't manage to make my top 5 of the week. Mitama, on the other hand, had this amazing gem of a chapter. Good to see Chara got what was coming to him. He is basically everything detective bro always feared
Jackson Morales
Damn Rena, that was savage
Jacob Peterson
If tear mode Mitama brought him to his knees then one insult from La Furiosa will makes sure he never fucking recovers
Jeremiah Richardson
This series seriously got a good translator.
Oliver Davis
>even I'd erased that from my memories
kino foreshadowing
Zachary Walker
I really hope they introduce the girl Soya and Joh were obsessed with. I'm really curious to see what she ended up being like
Lucas Clark
I posted last week's punchline in a shitpost thread after figuring it out, but it's more relevant here so I'll repost it:
>What do spirits and lion musicals have in common?
>心配ないさー (shin pai nai sa): No worries (from Hakuna Matata)
>心肺無いさ~ (shin pai nai sa): No heart or lungs (what's written in the raw)
It's not perfect but what we got still kind of kept in line with the spirit of the joke.
Julian Morris
inb4 it was Yuko
Andrew Gray
I knew it
Cooper Watson
>I'd be forcing all the customers to share tables with strangers
Really like how Rena is completely out of touch with how fucking weird it is to care or interact with spirits as much as she does without coming across as a complete idiot.
Jaxon Sullivan
holy fucking saved
William Baker
OH FUCK, BURN THE WITCH
Angel Harris
I love how she went from completely trying to ignore their existences to treating them as if they were actual beings that everyone could see.
Is this Jujutsu Kaisen? Why have I been seeing so many posts saying these 2 series are similar lately?
Easton Martin
>Why have I been seeing so many posts saying these 2 series are similar lately?
one of the main villains is friends with a bunch of evil spirits, just like Rena Haze
Nathaniel Young
>shitpost thread
That was the best thread, though.
Easton Wood
One of the villains can control evil spirits. He has the exact same move where Rena threw a bunch of spirits at BODY and he never used it again which disappointed me and the nips called her a Special Grade Curse User ever since.
Levi Wright
>Dr. Stone
Uh?
Ayden Howard
I hope none of the AAfags notice that someone snuck her into that powerlevel shitpost chart too.
Nathan Parker
a lot of people thought Taiju would be the MC until Senku sent them back to Tsukasa and they didn't appear for 50 chapters
Carson Mitchell
Unlike Taiju, Mitama still takes turns sharing the focus with Rena. It's just that most of the gags revolve around the spirits instead of his supposed incompetence as an exorcist.
Jordan Sanders
The one posted in my thread?
Brandon Jackson
>S rank and special grade
>tier A
I hate it
Aaron Myers
What would the Mitama tier chart look like?
Ryder Lewis
>SS: Pigeon-sensei
>S: Rena (tear mode), Zobiro
>A: Mitama (tear mode), BODY
>B: Mitama (normal), Rena (normal)
>C: Janca, all named spirits
>D: Soya, the rest of the spirits
>shit: Kojime
