>kino
Isayama's art has always been shit.

Still better storytelling than your favorite manga

Any Bleach cover
And I mean any cover, all of them are pure aesthetic

>when you change the subject because you got btfo
This thread is about the art, not the story. Learn to read, fujoshit.

should have just named the thread "HxH volume covers"

Attached: volume 11.jpg (1051x1600, 267.22K)

>got btfo
How does that work when you didn't even provide any arguments? keep seething

>why are you not providing arguments about a topic unrelated to the thread
Keep up the autism.

Pretty much all TG covers. I especially like the way he uses colors, it's so versatile.

All xxxholic covers qualify

I mean, they're all pretty good, but some are definitely more beautiful than others

Nice cover.

His coloring style is very distinctive. Is there a particular program or technique he uses?

Saike covers are all great

I love the art but hate the colors

For me, its vol13.

it's a fucking cover thread retard, nice concession.

>but some are definitely more beautiful than others
That's true
In Zakki Ishida mentioned he paints using Paint Tool Sai, Painter, and some other digical painting software. It's believed he mostly goes digital for everything because even his ad for an assistant mentioned use of digital paint programs. Here's a video of a livestream he did few years ago, if you're interested youtube.com/watch?v=IvEg_1gwrBM

I love the colors, it makes it pop.

Blame's art is a masterpiece but there's something so eyecatching about Nihei's new artstyle on the master edition covers

Attached: blame_master_edition.jpg (1473x700, 212.39K)

Personally I don't like his manga art but his covers are great. That artstyle in the ending was the only reason I watched Root A. youtube.com/watch?v=vDlshZWYj-w.

Song was amazing too.

I just hate the green

No pop

Nah

it's weird how much more boring and bland this makes it

Sure....

green is the least aesthetically pleasing color, while blue is top tier.

A more neon blue could work, the blue used in that is too muddy, for the lack of a better word.
Still doesn't change that it makes the volume cover look worse.

Kill yourself whispernigger.

I disagree, the blue doesn't complement the dark color of the zombies at the bottom of the page. The green makes them stand out

While I don't dislike his manga art, I think he mostly excels at his spreads, visual metaphors and expressions. His paneling is not that great (especially when he kept adding smaller panels towards the end) and his fight choreography is messy most of the times desu. Personally, I'd always check out the stuff he randomly posts on his twitter because I love his color illustrations

same, vol 14 is also great

how about you come back when your shit series' most recent volume cover is less than 2 years old kek

Attached: images (2).jpg (464x660, 120.94K)

Honestly there hasn't been many times where you can really gauge how good Ishida is at certain things pertaining to his art. Because if you look at TG that's when he was just starting out so it's obviously unfair and inaccurate to judge him on that but then going into :re he was just so burnt out that everything about the series went downhill so you can't even really judge there either.

Marginal isn't great but all of its covers kill

According to Ishida, his art peaked with Vol 8 and you can tell. It was the pefect mix between detailed and his gritty art style and it had some of the best spreads
