It’s so bizarre how the entire story completely blows on EVERY level except for the Black Dreamer arc - it was SURPRISINGLY high quality compared to everything else, especially the way that Zolk and Gaushy’s relationship was fleshed out. But then IMMEDIATELY after the arc ended, they fucking reverted Zolk back to a fucking child - undoing all of that character development for no fucking reason. I understand that he was going to die if he didn’t get reverted but honestly I would’ve taken him dying over this. At least it would have been respectful to his character

DUDE what are you talking about? The Borderland Supernova arc LITERALLY blows Black Dreamer out of the park. Zolk's angst about his paternal upbringing was challenged when his mind was reduced to a near limbo state by Kobayakawa and it tied EVERYTHING together, him turning into a child again, him singing the song that destroys stars, his sister having a bigger penis than him. EVERYTHING

That's actually a cool plot for an anime in itself. A random girl is given rights to a beloved novel series, and she wants to make it justice.

Not really the mecha trains transform into over sexualized giant robots. Becoming noticeably more powerful after they jump off the rails during their transformation. The changing of sexual features may be abstracted by the fact they are giant robots, but not by much given everything else.

Don't fall for Bard's Strings it's a fucking meme weapon and the bigger threat is the one who wields it. Compass isn't a weapon, it's just a fucking plot device and random teleporting doesn't count as winning a fight, when will Akifags understand this? idk why the sword is so underwhelming compared to all the other conventional weapons though. And yes I'm still mad about the fact that the Demon Bow is so useless that no one can even use it because the string slices your fingers off when you pull it, hence why I didn't even list it.
