[Loving Sacrifice] basically means everyone protect by it has Maple VIT but any damage they take gets transferred to Maple.
So any Piercing Damage to other party members shaves off Maple's HP

How does vitality work in this and what makes Maple so hard to kill? She has a fairly small HP pool, surely there are ways to damage it directly. Also how does she cast so much shit with her mana?

3) [Devour] (Gross Eater) skill recharge her MP and any extra get Stored (the gems that show up in the shield

[Machine God] Doesnt have MP cost instead the cost of using it is destroying a piece of equipment that is used as ammunition

Vitality is damage reduction. Yes, the developers added pierce damage, but Maple also has means to replenish her HP. And the thing with healing items is that they heal a fixed amount, but because Maple's total HP is so low it is actually easier for her to heal back to full. The more HP you actually have, the harder it is to recover. But conversely it is easy to get back to full health if your HP pull is small and you instead just reduce damage.

So if your attack did 15181 normal damage to her, she would lose 1hp? Does pierce damage ignore VIT completely?

Kasumi with 080 VIT and 435 HP, the Boss 1 shot her with a normal attack

Maple with 8880 VIT and 200 HP the Boss Normal attacks did not phase her but the Pierce attack would take about 3 hits to fully kill her

so if damage were simply STR - VIT = Damage Boss STR should be at least, 515.

Now, if Pierce is % VIT reduction/ skip, so quick math from what we know, the Pierce should be a 95% VIT reduction. which seems to be a lot
