The original was revolutionary, since then there has been a trillion Madoka copycats and it dulled the hype.

but they warre not copycats. they ware edgy. they got the appeal of madoka all wrong. madoka was ultimatly a story where hope wins. a realistic story about magical girls- not a cynic one.

Just because they didn't get it right doesn't mean they weren't copycats. Nothing will ever capture the feel of the original, not even the same studio can do it.

they ware riding on the hype but they ware not copycats. you might consider it nitpicking but magia record is the first anime since 2011 that really tries to imitate the important points of madoka, even tough it could never shock us the way madoka did since we are prepared.

I forget what happened in the anime but I just played that in the game. They use the power of teamwork to destroy the water rumor thing. They had 10 seconds left before the final attack so I would imagine they had about 1 left when they killed it. It then sent them each a paper that said congratulations with a tear drop.

I like the ED, glad they got ClariS back, it really sounds like a Madoka ED. Madoka made them famous in the first place so they can't say no. They were still in high school so it's nice to hear how their voices have changed over 9 years.

Magireco is simply just a less gripping story than Madoka Magica.

Part of the noticed change is because actually one of the singers changed. I can't remember which one but one of them left some years ago to focus on her studies (university?), a new singer named "Karen" joined.

Both songs were from the same album and Madoka was several magnitudes more popular than that boring incest trash.
