I don't get why Hachiman so mad at Yukino.
I mean she did try to apologize to him once they see each other at school, she even went as far as to wait for him, and I'm sure Yukino felt bad what happened.

I really like volume 6, despite having his illusion utterly shattered, 8man is willing to bear the burden with her. Yet it is obvious that Yukino is suffering from a bad guilt trip, which is why she refuses to receive help from 8man.
Anyone else felt the same.
He wasn't mad, he was just disappointed in himself for imagining things about Yukino that weren't true. Really it just boiled down to Yukino feeling too awkward to mention the accident.
It kind of felt like Yukino thought 8man was mad at her, so she tried not to ask him for help.
Was she hoping the accident would never be mentioned ever again?
Hope Spryo has time to finish the Yuki-dad chapter of Yukino side anthology, the start of it was very funny.
in the end the accident didn't matter much to Yukino and Hachiman, more a thing for Yui. Her being a passenger doesn't mean much.
But didn't she had to rely on him anyways? Since he got the most number of piled books, second only to Yukino?
Because he felt that Yukino's possible interactions with him were in part due to a sense of guilt for breaking his leg, especially after what she said about helping him in episode 1.
He didn’t react the same way he did with Yui. He even forgave her quickly. Which is unlike him.
Apparently in that chapter, Yukino looks at her phone in a funny (restlessly flap her legs, hide bury her face in a pillow in embarrassment and having phone close to her side) and uncharacteristically girlish way. Must have gotten a text from Hachiman or looking at a photo of them.
Any react from Yukinon, Yukidad, or Haruno from watching that?
They leave Yukino alone. It's also cute how Yukimom wants to seal the deal with Hachiman, quickly introduce Hachiman to Yukidad before he's taken by someone else but Yukino is afraid he'll think she's being heavy or annoying.
Yukidad must have been confused seeing her like that.
Does "seal the deal" imply marriage? Aren't they still in their third year of high school though? still cute tho
Probably.
Some people mentioned that meeting meeting parents in Japanese society usually the first steps to being part of the family. Looks like Yukimom wants to do just that.
>Arms too big to be that of Hachiman's.
Based. That's clearly Hayama.
It must make you rage to know that none of your silly predictions came true. Stay BTFO.
How good is season 3 gonna be LN-fags?
First half is kind of boring, but kicks into gear in the second half. The last few episodes will be great.
Yukino's family is conservative. Maybe that's why it's such a big deal.
Can't wait. I'm glad Hachiman finally has her number; he had just about every other major and semi-major character's contact info but Yukino's.
Oh I think Dad knows very well what happened, his introverted, secretly scary wallflower daughter that never had anything to do with boys since her childhood friend alienated her, now has a boyfriend.
Implies engagement. It's a rare guy that would have Yukino's interest or that could get along with her. The family knows they need to act on this once-in-a-lifetime chance.
Wasn’t it implied that 8man was going to take the Yukinoshita name?
>he had just about every other major and semi-major character's contact info but Yukino's.
That was a dead give-a-way what was going to happen, the metaphor/theme of their relationship is about "neither too close or too far" like something you see in Tanabata fairy tale. Their relationship for most of the series was one based only on club and being too nervous or scared to make it a deeper one.
Now he has her LINE ID and phone number.
And the Yukinoshita hymen
It's a melodramatic teenage school drama, Oregairu in particular is pretty much every cliche in this genre rolled into one story and absolutely nothing else going on even (it's fine to like it but you should know to expect this sorta thing at least)
Do you think Yukidad will ask Yukino for the details?
Yukino isn't interested in sex.
shut up, denial-kun.
What do you think she wants the apartment for
She just wants to practice being a married couple with Hachiman.
Why are you giving that retard attention?
So she could commute easier to Tokyo U.
Maybe to tutor Hachiman and they could watch pan-san movies together
This is now canon
I wonder how they act in front of Yui.
Because, reasons
yukino fucking sucks massive ass, shes the only reason why i havent read the lns
Yukino is probably afraid to show affection to her boyfriend in front of Yui, and in public. Same with Hachiman himself. It was noted that both of them are struggling with making the transition into becoming lovers that you would expect an otaku and a friendless introvert.
God, I can't even imagine. Watari should write a sequel.
It's Gagaga's #1 money maker, so probably soon.
>Yukino in early volumes considered confessions to be public humiliation
>starts seething when Hachiman is steadfast in his belief that crossing the line or deepening relationships isn't an option
Oh boy, you are not going to like the ending
>Their relationship for most of the series was one based only on club
Good thing at the end of the series they don't give a shit about the club anymore as the club is the symbol of ungenuine relationship
Hey, she gave up on 8man. She doesn’t have any room to speak.
It served as a bridge for them though. They managed to get to know each other because of it.
Yukino throughout the series always contradicted her beliefs.
Yukino was talking about typical school confessions, where others would watch and gossip about the results. Pretty much the thing the club set up for Tobe and Ebina
Yes, panda mating season is from March to May, Yukino's 3D pan-san needs to rise to the occasion.
Yukino pretty much said she didn't like to be confessed to, based on her past experiences in elementary/middle school. Hachiman basically said to her that he will never confess to anyone or fall in love, for that's a limited right granted to the winners. Yukino thought Hachiman betrayed her expectations of him, thought that he too despised superficial distance.
Man this novel had such a great potential, I wish we got more of "hachiman being selfless but being hated by 95% of the classroom while the rest know how good he is,etc"
He changed and went for something he wanted, and chose to hurt Yui since his heart was with Yukino.
This is what I never get from romcoms. The best part is the teasing and never the end. And the characters don't need to end together. I didn't read it because I wanted him to get one of the girls, I read it because I wanted to see his value as a human being seen by other people that were making pre-established notions of him
The characters that saw Hachiman's value and changed their view of him included Hayama, Yumiko, Saki, Tobe, Orimoto, and Yukino
Yes but then the teasing was lost, now they know who he is and the novel became boring
That's just how you are seeing it. I also liked it a lot when the relationships and Character impressions we're still building up, but what we have right now has its own charm.
The charm of a stale, predictable romcom?
Anyway, can you recommend me mangas or ln with the same style?Ones where characters start hating mc but start seeing him doing some good stuff and changing perspective about him-?
There was one other thing to overcome that was himself, getting over his own fears and doubts at the end.
that's so cheesy lmao
Oregairu was always about breaking down Hachiman and Yukino as characters and archetypes. Hachiman didn't self sacrifice for the sake others, he said so himself. He did it because he had one thing he shared with someone else.
Oregairu is not about selfless heroism, justice or self-sacrifice. If you want that there is F/SN, which does a better job of those things. Which by the way, Watari is a fan of.
It maybe cheesy but it did fit the theme of the story
Really? Tell me about how you overcame your fears and doubts and confessed to the girl you loved in high school, user.
I didn't.
I take that you are mostly invested in hachiman only, that's why it feels boring to you now. But, if you see the story from yukino's pov too, it would become a lot better. She has been abandoned by almost everyone but this was the first time someone was ready to cross the line for her and didn't want her to change. It's really great to see these two dorks interacting.
As for a manga similar to what you mentioned.
Masamune-kun is the only one that's popping up in my mind atm.
