How do you keep track of new manga chapters? The follow function of pic related or something else?

How ever Tachiyomi does it

I check if it has been posted on r/manga

I don't read that many manga, like 10 at most. I can remember the update schedule, because it's usually on the weekends for all of them anyway.

I read the new chapter whenever Tachiyomi tells me, or if I catch the live TL threads here.

For saving you can use firefox library and just check everything manually.

I normally read the tank when it comes out. alert.shop-bell.com/ is pretty nice for keeping track of that.
In the case I want to read chapter-wise however, one only needs to remember if it's a monthly or a weekly magazine.

unfathomably based

me too

Is this what it's like to have sub 80 IQ?

RSS plus different download methods for things I read and things I backlog.

In the past I had a notepad file with all the ongoing shit I follow, but then I realized it doesn't matter, nothing matters, either way I spend a lot of time on Yas Forums so when I see an influx of threads/shitposting about a certain anime/manga, I know the new chapter/episode has been released

This. Has never failed me.

FMD downloads new chapters to my NAS.

Use Chunky on my iPad which sorts by new.

Simple.

Technically the follow function of mangadex, but with the downloader instead.

yeah so, the mangadex follow feature.

She got a black BM I got a white TT. She wanna see what's hiding in my CK briefs. I tell her wear suspenders and some PVC and then I'll film with ooh up on my JVC.

Technically but Tachiyomi supports more sites than just Mangadex. Even pornsites and webcomics.

I don't read ongoing anymore. I tired from this shit.
>forgot about some manga
>5 years later
>it still in ongoing

If let's say Mangadex goes down, will Tachiyomi find links to all of my favourites on other sites?

You can open the manga in question, tap the authors name and tachiyomi will search that name from all the catalogues you have installed. It will show you every manga by that author in those catalogues. You can then choose that manga from a different catalogue and continue reading there. It wont export your read-chapters, i dont think.

Thanks good user!

not really relevant though

It comes to me in a dream.

Use tachiyomi like

Easy, I use the shonen jump app

ITT: convoluted methods with big set-up times because Yas Forums is too insecure to use MAL

I read all the currently translated chapters, forget about it for a few years, then read it when it's done

You're trying too hard to fit in. Lurk.

I ask my father (Tsugumi Ohba) if he can send me the new volumes

>downloader
What one?

I'm on the discord server of all the mangas

Is there a local manga reader app that lets me use long strip mode?

Uh, hello? Based department

I just follow the manga on mangadex and check whatever gets updated every night.

r/manga threads and here

2PBP

Or just set up autotracking with Tachiyomi

I use MAL and MU. Using a piracy site, the kind of which has been taking down many times before, as the only way you keep track of things is retarded.

>he read weekly manga

I see a thread on Yas Forums and remember: "Hey, I'm actually reading that manga!" and then catch up on all the chapters I missed since.

MU?

Not him but presumably MangaUpdates. I have no idea how it has such a good reputation since its info on series as popular as Grand Blue and Black Lagoon is wrong. Don't use it.

trying way too hard, newfag...yikes.

How ironic.

ahh I see

You could probably update anything you find that's wrong. I don't know how well that works with MU but I know that MAL's people take forever to update anything. What exactly is wrong about those entries though? Is it stuff in their summaries or the number of volumes or something?

He didnt imply you were samefagging, newfag

Did I imply samefag anywhere, newfag-kun?

...

outstanding thread

>"oh look that manga looks interesting let's read it"
>read it
>"that was nice"
Doesn't seem hard to do.

he means a ongoing manga

mangaupdates.com/releases.html

Why not using your memory then? I'm actually following like 10 series and have no problem remembering them.
>b-but I'm following 50 series
Literally why, even assuming you liked all of them you should simply stop picking up new manga and focus on finished series.
