Bakugo is insufferable and worse than Sasuke
Main reason why I’ve been so turned off from the whole series lately.
Even by shonen rival standards... he’s the worst and is not close.
It is more apparent in rewatches as well.
Not only if he an insecure one dimensional insufferable bully with zero redeeming qualities... but he doesn’t even have a sad or shocking backstory like Sasuke that would explain why he’s such a POS. Nope, the dude has a regular childhood and family.
Am I supposed to feel sorry when he’s crying because he’s insecure about Deku? Is perplexing! Get the hell over it like every other kid at UA you insecure twat.
Dude is garbage, no one in the show barely calls him out for it, he gets praised as a genius and in top of everything I’m supposed to care about his tantrums because he feel his victim isn’t as much of a victim anymore and that frustrates him...I feel like Hori insults my intelligence sometimes. Boohoo poor Bakugo cannot bully Deku anymore... let’s feel sorry for him.
Is the equivalent of the bully at school crying because the guy he use to bully isn’t weak anymore and he feels insecure.
The worst part is that he went through some “character development” but still as one dimensional as ever. One trick pony. Even peak asshole Sasuke in late Shippuden had some sort of reason for losing his mind... Bakugo has zero backstory other than pride.
It doesn’t help he’s a fan favorite in Japan for some reason.
Stop pretending he’s a deep character... he’s as shallow as they come.
