What is Yas Forums's opinion on soul eater 2?

Liked it a lot. Better story and animation than kimetsu.

It's watchable. It's just barely competent enough to be carried by the decent direction. It's like the quintessential shounen operating on autopilot with just enough intrigue to carry you along.

This and Boogiepop were my biggest deceptions last year, I regret having watched them so much that I'll never gonna trust Yas Forums's hype anymore

like most anime too many characters, most of them do nothing besides a single stand out moment for 1 episode, half way through dumps even more new characters, all of them paper thin.

Agreed. It's a clear give-away that someone can't write for shit, since it's much harder to actually do something interesting with only a few characters, as opposed to just introduce another set of literally who's with some shitty gimmick.
Kino force is still a great watch thanks to the awesome DP, formerly SHAFT direction.

I liked the anime, mainly for the battles and sound design. The story its kind of a cliché, and the manga was... Not very good, maybe it was because of the scanlation team, but I couldn't make it too far.

But what it did for me was to introduce me to soul eater which was a very fun read. Sad though that not many people in these threads talks about it.

The juvenile writing killed what could have been a decent anime.

David Pro should have just made another season of Jojo instead of this.
