What's the worst anime you've ever watched? Pic related for me

Honestly, this has to take the cake for me, because I honestly can't think of a single redeeming thing about it. The second closest would probably be the second batch of Guyver OVA that changed too much stuff from manga and has very visibly fraction of first one's budget, but while the animation is not as bad here, it's still pretty fucking pathetic that they stitched together 3 episodes of anime and called a movie, most shows that do this put at least little effort to justify that, this one doesn't. 3rd closest would be Gundam Stardust Memory and I absolutely hated that one, but it at least had decent first couple of episodes and generally above average animation.

But i digress, it's really is just a piece of shit writing wise, the whole movie built up a situation where Sakuta has to deal with the fact that he's in a situation where not everyone can win and that someone decided to give something back to him for his kindness and when movie hits one hour mark him and Mai just quietly go back to their apartment to deal with that fact. But then, nah, let's just fucking re-roll it. Are you fucking serious? And they emphasize the miniscule chance of it actually working, but it does work flawlessly? Fuck off movie, fuck off Seishun Buuta, most overhyped garbage piece of shit of 2010s.

What? What's there to explain, the fucking actual plot of the show where Hiro's amnesia is driving force behind Mitsuru's character? Hiro and 02 both had amnesia and then Mirsuru had amnesia with Kokoro. When you think about it, all characters who fucking matter had amnesia, if Miku and Zorome were relevant at any capacity or had any impact on the story they'd have amnesia too.

yeah i forgot about mitsuru and kokoro because i haven't seen the show in a while but still if there's good reasoning behind it then it doesn't automatically make it bad. I think franxx handled brainwashing part pretty well.

Well, there's the problem because I don't. Though, it is pretty meta to make amnesia sub plot so bad and forgettable you literally forgot about it, really speaks volumes about how they handled it I think.

the mitsuru kokoro amnesia i think was pretty unnecessary and that's why i forgot about it. It was an event of no consequence but i wouldn't say it ruined the show.

It stalled Kokoro's and Mitsuru's relationship for 5 episodes. They were about to marry each other and then did NOTHING, actually literally nothing until Kokoro pooped a child. Show filled the gap between marriage and child birth with amnesia, it's laughably bad.

It's one of many things that makes Ditf garbage, just on minor side, Hiro's and 02's amnesias are worse.

That would've been more interesting, you also could put a fetus in the franxx and it would've resulted in auto-piloted mech, like franxx's motherly instincts telling it to preserve the fetus. It's dumb, but so is show's cockpits.

The only good thing about this show for me is that the mechs are drawn and not CGI and the animation isn't bad.

It's not even about just being a chinese copycat of other things, I honestly just find the actual plot insipid, I genuinely can't come up with a reasoning why would anyone like re-rolling core drama of the movie. It's literally "so it was just a dream" tier.

I have close to zero experience with anime. I literally misclicked on it while browsing Horrible Subs and thought "might as well". Regretted every second of it. Still watched all of it to see if the edgy fag killed himself or not.

Nah, the fetus Franxx method sounds much harder to control. There is a decent explanation that Klaxosaurs are symbiotic creatures to explain the opposite sex cockpits, which admittedly is a cool way for a giant monster to function. What I wished to see in Franxx was some kind of achieved code 016, which turned out to be very disturbing creation, or a stamen-only Franxx that was secretly alive, making use of the failed 001 clones. Something to make the show remain sci-fi and maintain a chilling tone.

3rd arc was the best. Unfortunately, the anime never reached that part.

It would be bad if it was, say, four amnesia events used for the exact same purpose. It's only two though, and used for different reasons:

>Hiro/Zerotsu
To reveal they met each other in childhood, and tie some loose ends such as "why does Zerotsu see Hiro differently from other partners".

>Kokoro/Mitsuru
Basically to reset their relationship on screen, for the sake of romantic tension.
