Whatever it is you liked about S;G has probably been done better in other anime. Not because it's a bad show, but because there isn't really a thing it's the best at doing.

I find kind of weird how steins gate is just a copy paste of YU-NO yet you don't hear people praising YU-NO for anything, steins gate only good point is that is popular.

I just love how emotionally engaging it was personally, it resonated with me so much it's almost like it was written for me. The character development is unmatched compared to any other anime I've ever seen

Haruhi doesn't even know what it wants to do half the time. It's a great premise with an interesting world and whatnot but things barely go anywhere and nothing really develops after Asakura leaves. It's just "what shenanigans will Haruhi make everyone participate in today?"

Madoka goes places, but Haruhi always ends back at the status quo.

Did you even watch the series? The only reason father was weakened to a state where Ed could fight him 1 on 1 was because literally moments earlier everyone threw everything they had at him.

Even then Ed wasn't able to win. The only reason Father lost is because Greed betrayed him and turned his body in charcoal.

Greed dying was stupidly predictable. And again, a throwaway side character. It would have been more impactful if it was Al that died and STAYED dead instead of Greed. But nope, they just took some side character, have Ed win by punching God to death, but secretly only died because he ate Greed and became "too greedy" for power. It's been done a billion times and wasn't anything special. Ed didn't even have much of a relationship with Father. Father had more conflict with Mustang than Ed ever did. There's no special dynamic between the protagonist and the antagonist.

FMA was good, just not 10/10 good.

They all fit all of your points and more. Well, I guess you can remove animations for NGE and Madoka but it doesn't actually matter. And Haruhi is ongoing but Disappearance is still a great ending to the anime, and Surprise to the current state of the LNs.

Greed death was perfect & foreshadowed in his firth death. No matter how many times father tried to "purify" him, he always eventually rebelled.

Although I agree Father himself wasn't that great of an antagonist, I still absolutely love all the side characters. Kimblee was esp interesting. Also Ed's sacrificing his alchemy to get Al back was simply perfect.
