Yotsuba didn't have any character development, Her whole arc revolves her sacrificing her happiness for her sisters.

If it was me, I would've written like, Itsuki convinces her to go and confront her sisters about how she feels. Her sisters all agree and they talk it out with her. and then Yotsuba would've just confess to Fuutarou. also, revealing that she is Lolikano from 5 years ago.

I would rather have Yotsuba do it, Instead of Fuutarou because it would show character development, As she is no longer holding back just for the sake of her sisters. Her sister would know and they all would've been in equal footing.

Instead, of having Uesugi confess to her and all her problems, Just disappear.

Is it really necessary for the sisters to go to Yotsuba and Fuutarou honeymoon? Like this sounds like harem ending. Negi could've showed more character development with the other sisters. With all of them moving on from Uesugi and finding someone to love. I mean Come on, Fuutarou isn't the only guy for them!

What about Fuutarou past?

Like can we get a explanation, about his mom and his past. It would've just be nice for the girls and Fuutarou to somehow relate. Since they both lost their moms.

Also, what is the purpose of the whole story?

I'll give him that the premise was genius with unlimited potential. Unfortunately almost all theoretical scenarios by the readers turned out to be more consistent and interesting than the original. This is one of those examples where the creator didn't understand the charm of his own creation and what made it good.

That wouldn't exactly work in this particular manga. Negi had set up one single winner, the bride, at the beginning of the story. That premise is what held the story and the reader's attention together. It doesn't seem much, but it is in fact an implicit contract between the author and the reader that states that there will be a clear conclusion. A compromise such as a "harem" end would ruin this contract.
That's also why some anons felt betrayed by the honeymoon scene.

I'm so fucking glad they completely fucked up, failed to air it in winter/spring, had to change the studio and move it to the autumn's season. They would make so much money if it was airing right now. Instead they will get a very minor boost in backlog sales and we will never see S3.
