I just finished Part 4 of Jojo and it’s such a fucking downgrade from 3

Why did Araki remove stakes and violence from the show?
Part 4 is a tonal shift, that's for sure. We go from vampire asshole that wants to convert the whole world, ancient proto-humans that want to rule the world and then back the vampire asshole who still wants to fuck the world over. 4 is arguably a necessary shift. I don't mind it but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

Parts 3 and 1 are the only parts I've read/watched once through and have no motivation to return to. Parts 7, 4, 8, 2, and 6 and I can re-read and enjoy. Part 5 I can enjoy as an anime because it was so well adapted.
