>Oh yea we have this mysterious apprentice. Lets create some unique bakcsto...
>oh...
Lord el melloi
I wanted to watch this for the girl, but holy shit I think I'm going to pull a muscle in my face if I continue, I can't stand the MC's tryhard fucking voice. I got fucking DOMS in my face last time I tried to watch this.
the one thing that fatecucks suck at is making their main character "fun" or good. I fucking hate Shirou, Waver and Sieg. Wave was only good when he had rider to help his shit character.
Guda is also shit, but since he makes 4b+ dollars a year he gets a pass by the gay ass community
I agree. EMYIA the archer version is fun to watch, the moment it switch to Shirou it gets boring, he cant stand on his own and lack charisma.
Sieg can go and fuck himself
> EMYIA the archer version is fun to watch
Is he really? I mean the character is unable to stand on its own. I cant remember a scene when I though "holy shit this character is smart and fun to watch" it was always "hahah he making fun of Shirou"
But you never got her backstory in the show, she does have one though, and even the novels don't give it until later.
Kanta is okish tho and Flat is good
They aren't main characters.
>Wave was only good when he had rider to help his shit character
he was also just a better character when he was younger
Flat is MC of FSF
Not him, but Flat is one of the main characters of SF (together with Sigma and notAyaka)
ops though you meant flat as in flat the blond guy in lord el melloi not flat as in the blond guy in fsf
>I fucking hate Shirou
found the secondary.
yes yes a bunch of takeuchi cultist use some ritual to give her a saberface such an interesting backstory and not just a cheap way to force more saberface shit the fact the her character revolves around being a saberface is just fucking retarded
But Gray is good kind of saberface.
What about in HF? Him going after assassin and resisting the mud was great.
That's what happened when Lord El-Melloi II had been established as "the man that female students named as the #1 man they'd like to get laid by" before Fate/Zero even came out.
Though nowadays it got changed to just 3rd rank anyway.
Will we get to see more of the Lords in Case Files sequel?
She wants the W
Shirous is fine in vn. The rest i garbage though.
Lord Trambellio's "day of the decisive battle" in CF material says Folklore Horde Market Brishisan so maaaaaybe Lord Brishisan (in charge of Folklore dept.) would appear.
Lord Archelot is likely May Riddell Archelot in Mahoyo or maybe her relative. We know a bit about this family in CF vol 4 (though the anime cut this part) and vol 9.
There should be more episodes about Gray being put into embarasingly cute costumes.
The concept of the character is good or at least better than the other saberfaces, since it's something perfectly in line with what magi would do in the setting, and the concept of preserving a noble phantasm to the modern age was already introduced through Bazett. The character itself is also fine, a kid from a magic bloodline being used as a tool for their magecraft since it's what she was born to do, and resents it.
Obviously that doesn't justify the hairstyle, that's pure pandering and it sucks. I won't mention the saberface because everyone has the same anime face anyway and it's part of the ritual so that much at least makes sense, but the specific hairstyle is nonsense. As if Artoria would have stopped being the king of knights just becase she let her hair loose when taking a bath. Gray should have left her hair just like that, loose.
Ayaka is the MC, don't you see she's the one who got Saber? Well, more specifically, she's the one with the boy-meets-girl subplot with her own servant, who on top of that is Saber.
Though I certainly would prefer Flatt and Berserker to win the war, much better team.
I heard some anons talk about the LNs explaining this. That her appearance is "forced" by the magic.
I agree. season 2 could just be filled with embarrassed Gray faces and I'll be satisfied.
Though I wish they hadn't side lined Flat and Svin so bad despite billing them as main characters
The mats book has 8 pages dedicated to Gray's fashion sense lol
8 pages well spent.
>Ayaka is the MC, don't you see she's the one who got Saber? Well, more specifically, she's the one with the boy-meets-girl subplot with her own servant, who on top of that is Saber.

It's a fucking Narita book, pretty much everyone is the MC, the fact that Ayaka has the saber is irrelevant and I say that as someone who favours her team the most

Agree with this. They show her initial designs but in the end, Mineji still went with Saber's hairstyle.
yeah the face isn't her original one, her hair colour is probably the only thing left of her original body that stayed the same. She'd probably have stayed normal (as normal as mage families go at least) if Saber had never been summoned
So many good Gray hairstyles...
I rationalized her still keeping the bun as being a habit though, since it's probably the only hairstyle she was allowed to wear for years
Haven't gotten to that part, I've finished the 4th LN and I don't think I've skipped or forgotten that. Even if I did, it's still nonsense, and a cheap way to justify their marketing tool. The magic warped her face and body to emulate Artoria's, that's fine, but the rule applying to her hairstyle is retarded.
If there's one thing to do after the end of the plot, is that she changes it later on. Apparently she's not stuck as perma-jailbait like Saber is, because of the influence of Rhongobongo or something, so in theory the whole spell should weaken as she diverges from the ideal Saberface point.
That would make more sense than magic hax, and even if cliche, it could end with the character development haircut to get rid of it.
Top left has the greatest divergence, I like it.
I just want to see anything regarding Individual Fundamentals. Fucking piece of shit filler faculty.
>I just want to see anything regarding Individual Fundamentals. Fucking piece of shit filler faculty.
Same, i have no idea what they're supposed to do at that department honestly.
>good kind of saberface
no such thing
Gray is cute and sexy and perfect!
>secondaries
I don't know if I want to tightly hug Gray.
Or brutally rape Reiness.
This was such fucking trash holy shit, it's one of the rare shows where I actually feel insulted watching it. It could have been a detective/whodunit mystery solving with magic, but it was one of the worst pieces of shit I've watched. It had zero skill behind its writing, mysteries were solved via deus ex machina and "magic did it lol", almost always ending in some stupid shitty fight between the saberface and whatever opponent of the week. Worst of all they even tried to excuse the trash writing by saying that magic makes the howdunit meaningless, which is borderline insulting considering the howdunit would have been most of the meat of the show, but of course whoever wrote this never had any talent to make it work in the first place.
Oh and on the topic of insulting, the way they tried to push Waver having Saber PTSD was absolutely idiotic, all so they could badly motivate shoving another saberface into it.
lord el melloi's ass pulls
Why did Heartless larp as Caules?
It is meaningless though. There are countless types of magecraft, trying to understand how the Chrome went down would have been either useless or impossible. Focusing on why is the correct decision.
I like Saber.
>Steal teacher's servant, humiliate teacher by surviving war, take over teacher's household name, breed teacher's family forever tainting it with your seed.
Based
>a bunch of takeuchi cultist use some ritual to give her a saberface
And he never wanted any of that!
>the state of Case Files threads
bros...
I'm surprised that somebody made a thread for it honestly. The anime isn't that popular on Yas Forums, the LN isn't fully translated and there aren't many Yas Forumsnons that care about it in the first place. /fgog/ and BL discuss Case Files more than /tmg/ and Yas Forums.
I think you are confused. It's in reverse
the only good part
There really should be a character that's a Saber killer. Going through multiverses just to kill all the saberfaces.
