Chapter 345 is out
Kaiji
Deep.
Do you agree?
Where's Kaiji?
Please don't die
>I'm a Goofy Goober yeah
Have some patience.
Your life must be really boring if you think of a random fight as a finale
Never mind what I just said, that was the narrator talking.
Better than Kaiji, even better than Kurosawa. Based and vanpilled
Fukumoto's taking jabs at his own work, right? He's not totally lacking in self-awareness, right?
And that is all for today folks.
What did you think of this chapter?
I feel like I heard this line before...
This guy is such a bro. A man among men.
really good
I was planning to dump, but thanks for doing it OP
This part is a goldmine for endou reaction images
Ugh...where's the gamble match...?
Vanbro > gambles
I stopped reading Kaiji around the beginning of One Poker-hen with Kazuya.
Could anyone give a tl;dr of everything that has happened after or a highlight of important events so far?
Shortversion:
Kaiji won 2.3 billion yen
saved Kazuya's life
Is now on the run from Teiai
Endou is chasing him, Endou really loves Kentucky Fried Chicken (this is canon)
Kaiji wins, he and the other two guys run off with the money that they won. This entire arc is about them running away and securing the money, with Endou trying to find them. It's pretty great.
Why don't you read the rest to find out yourself?
It would be more enjoyable that way.
>Kaiji wins
>he and his friends take the 2.3 billion yen and bolt it out there on a truck before the men in black can catch up (Kazuya sent them away during the climax of the gamble)
>entire arc has been them doing things like ditching the truck, hiding out in abandoned houses, trying to transfer the money to bank accounts, ect without Teiai being able to track them
>Endou was rehired to hunt them down and just narrowly missed catching them a few times
>at some point Kaiji had the idea to rent a camper van to hide out in
>the almost-bald guy in this chapter is the owner of the rental place, and he sympathized with them enough to rent it to them with no questions asked
>after a silly camping misadventure, Endou suddenly realized that they probably rented a van and found the most likely place they got it from
>he went to try to get information, but it escalated in a stupid fight and he didn't learn anything
This chapter is immediately after the fight.
This whole arc is the gamble dumbass
Thanks!
I quit reading it because it wasn't enjoyable to me anymore but I might try it again now, I like what I see and I have some free time.
much discussion
so wow
>Even the narrator is frustrated at Kaiji
It's 3 in the morning, what do you want?
Gentlemen, that's how you win the story of the fight. Remember it. Honor it.
Kaiji's anxious face is so cute!
Sorry that this isn't like your reddit wanpiss general
Sasuga, Kaiji.
Nice one Kaiji
Endoh is more evil than Andoh and Hyodo. Good on Fukumoto for portraying the Yakuza as the scum that they really are, none of the usual “honorable gangster” shit that almost every other manga does.
I assume you've had enough interactions with the Yakuza to say that?
Naruhodo
SPINOFF WHEN
This is just fucking Middle Management Endo.
No, because this is actually canon.
>it's "chong"
master play by Endou
Honestly that fucking punk deserved to get hit in the shin with a wrench, hope he steps in dog crap
Kaiji pls
This man is your friend
Is Kaiji a retard?
He knows he gave his number to van owner so he is the only one who should call him.
Teiai could've got the number from the van guy. It's not unreasonable to be cautious. Kaiji should've saved his number and this problem wouldn't exist.
What if it's an annoying telemarketer though?
Then tell her to fuck off.
Well you are right I'm kinda flustered with him after how bro the van owner turned out to be.
He's clearly not thinking about that, Kaiji's just being a dumbass
