I don't know man it's pretty fun, atomospheric, and the characters are all interesting. I mean sure some of the episodes can be a little slow, but overall I'd say it was pretty enjoyable. I mean it's no masterpiece, but I don't think anyone is saying it is.

it's great. every character has personality and chemistry with each other. the action scenes are fantastic and well animated thanks to madhouse being at their peak. roanapur is such a great setting despite being a shithole. it's a very simple anime but sometimes less is more. it's probably my most rewatched show next to amagi brilliant park.

Rock got impenetrable plot armor, so the only thing to do was make Revy's backstory even worse.

The cast is pretty progressive for an Eastern show but they don't act like the kind of stereotypes you'd expect in Western t.v. I almost lost it at the Nazi episode but at least they portrayed the Germans like real people instead of bloodthirsty savages, again like Western t.v. would.

I liked the concept and the first few episodes were great, but it got to be way too over the top for me. It wasn't the lack of realism per se, but rather the world didn't have any baseline for what is realistic and it just got crazier and crazier. Invincible terminator maids, warrior vampire lolis, and girls who can deflect bullets with a chainsaw exceed my suspension of disbelief for a story that's otherwise set in the real world without magic or anything.

Definitely not for everyone's taste.I liked it a lot because it was cheesy, entertaining and had adrenaline fueled action most of the time, though it has some flaws. On other hand, I couldn't bear with Jormungand since action was so poorly made - no tension and it gets solved in a moment when a baddie makes retarded move. I liked baddies a lot, Orchestra and Dominic's crew were very interesting.

Robertas Blood Trail was the worst of all the seasons. 1>2>3. Hey imma catch a blade with my teeth and shatter it. The only complete bullshit part from Revy was when she jumped 20 meters from boat to boat in episode one but after that it took on a rather "realistic" tone, where as Roberta was just a cyborg.

I was actually too bored to finish blood trail. Watched 1 episode and kind of stopped.
