Erika being guaranteed to win isn’t the issue. There could still be entertaining and interesting drama with “obstacles” instead of “rivals.”

The problem is that the different threads of the story have almost nothing to do with each other. Hiro for example isn’t even an obstacle let alone a rival: her route has absolutely nothing to do with Erika route. Sachi route should be the most tied in with Erika route, but the two didn’t even meet each other until the last chapter, eight chapters in!

Yes it is if you want some retarded level of "hype" like toubun. At most this will be as good as Juliet. Yet for some reason the author wants to make it a "mystery" as if we don't know who will win anyways.
I actually disagree with you with how each heroines should have a converging path right away. That kind of plot should be more into the story.
