Furuichi getting posessed were always the best chapters
>villain has genuine ego death and psychological collapse for whatever reason
>visibly spends great effort over extended time learning new way to see things
>Gradually becomes most implacable ally of the protagonists
You don't know how hard it's worth fighting for good until you've seen how bad things can get.
Best character development
>side character is stronger than MC and stays stronger than him for the whole series
>Friend / mid tier character momentarily surpasses MC
Almighty Janitors
I wish Beelzebub did went to shit. It was kinda funny at the beginning. Also I liked that Oga and Kunieda look basically like Rance and Kenshin.
>"Villain" has better motives than the "hero"
>did
*did not.
Did it go to shit because it was going to be axed or did it get axed because it went to shit?
MC's motives are petty but their actions are overboard
>Long ass arc which is just buildup to the main character getting thrashed horribly
>Swears vengeance on the person who did this to them
>Rest of the manga is buildup to rematch
Berserk and Kaiji does this so well. Too bad neither will ever actually get to the rematch.
Ah yes.
>Plot builds to 100% unexpectedly
If its done right at least
>cocky villain-like character is seemingly introduced as the new big bad
>gets fucking dropped by a completely different, more likeable villain-like character
>MC has to pretend to be someone that they aren't
>As the series goes on, they become more and more like that someone
Ruphas needs to get an anime.
Shinju No Nectar
MC with the same personality as Gordon Ramsay or Tyson Fury
You would love mutsuhashi.
I would love to see an anime of these.
Is it good? Because at first glimpse it looks like isekai version of seikon no qwaser
>Can't even get his name right
I'm not a writing expert but I like it
It was a typo okay.
>female demon lord
It basically is but a little bit better. It's entertaining to be sure but don't expect more than what has been said here and your initial impressions.
>morally grey or black characters with cocky and or manic grins
>Characters with immortality or regenerative powers clearly having a blast fighting
>Characters with immortality or regenerative powers casually killing and mutilating or doing something sick to themselves like its nothing
Their enthusiasm is infectous. And it's cool. Also please rec some anime with those tropes in it!
What is this trope called? I would like to see it used more often in anime.
youtube.com
That, my friend, is what we call dabbing.
>MC fights final boss
>Everyone is cheering him on
I love this shit so much. I also love everyone struggling to take down a strong opponent before he escapes or kills everyone, just the sheer struggle of it all is fun to watch.
MC used to be the big bad but got defeated and changed his ways
>that person turns out to be an asshole and someone not meant to be copied
>as they become more like that guy, this is obviously not painted as a good thing
I hate that trope though.
>story revolves around the quest for power necessary to control one's own destiny
>LOL TIME TO THROW THE POWER AWAY NOW
>nothing ever happens
>completely straight-faced melodrama between two individuals
Underrated trope
>nothing ever happens
>the characters don't talk or move around much
>just stares at the audience the whole time
Fuck, anime’s got nothing on this.
>Side characters are introduced throughout the manga
>They aren't forgotten and thrown to the side even though the story is about MC
>Side characters are still relevant even during the final showdown of the big bad.
Sounds terrible
>villain is a female
>mc either defeats or converts her
>they fuck and shit
>Villain is female
>She crushes the mc and makes him submit
>No sex because she is underage
Does rape count?
Gay
>Those Baccano chapters where Elmer commits suicide in front of depressed people to show them how much of a mess it makes
Elmer is the best character in Baccano, shame the series has moved into never ever territory and his story will forever be stuck at 66% written
>>Everyone is cheering him on
I like how everyone in the series aside of his friend and gfs gave shit to him and called him weak until the very last chapter
yes but preferably no
We want her to submit out of love and hornyness of her accord
>No sex because she is underage
gay
>Character who always wears concealing/cover up her entire body and doesn't show any curves change cloths for one chapter with slightly more revealing cloths than her usual.
Beelzebub was so much fun. I thought it even did action and fights really well even when people complained about them. Just such a good series.
Last few chapters were a mess but nevertheless, it was a fun ride and Kanzaki was my man.
>mc and final villain showdown
>its a fist fight and they beat each other to a bloodly pulp
>final battle between MC and villain
>instead of being a decisive or onesided battle, it's a slugfest where both are tired and beaten in the end
>metal gear 4
MC pretends to be a shounen underdog because he thinks it's funny
MC and Antagonist team up temporarily.
>MC betrays the antagonist
>MC betrays the antagonist
Now that's the good shit
>Referencing that trash video "game" on an anime and manga board
Pick something appropriate at least, like Joe v Jose.
