Shalltear without her weapon and armor, isn't very useful in combat against real strong enemies.
Is better not to use the maids. Since Ainz had only recently gotten them from Jaldaboath. Last thing he want is to have people say he is now just another Jaldaboath by using demon maids to slaughter the kingdom. Plus last time Ainz left the maids on their own, Entoma almost died. Ainz is hoping to use the attack on the kingdom to lure out powerful beings, so the maids are not suited for the task. Instead Ainz choose himself to be the bait( or at least PA in this case)
