Is there a human nen user that can beat Netero in his prime?
Hunter x Hunter
Pic related could.
/thread
hahaha no
Chrollo couldn't even kill a clown
The clown couldn't even kill Chrollo.
Ging could.

Shizuku is gonna suck Netero's buddha.
Future queen of Kaikin Empire.
Where do the things her vacuum suck go to?
We still don't know the extent of Ging's abilities.
They could have been friends.
Future art piece of the Kaikin King.
personally I took a few hundred. I wasn't planning on anymore but he really aggravated me at 2016 and up.
Killua could get his brother to unmake him.
Hes deathly afraid of parenthood.
Adult Gon wouldn't win against Netero in his peak. Netero was already half his strength in CA arc though so adult Gon would've won then.
Adult Gon crippled Pitou with one kick and moves so fast she couldn't see him whereas old man Netero didn't damage her at all when he hit her and she could follow his hand movements. Adult Gon could be several times stronger than Netero.
>didn't read OP's question
You're comparing him to weak Netero with half his strength, and not younger Netero at his best.
I'm betting Beyond will be stronger than his dad.
This
Gon if he had reached his full potential. Maybe. But that will never happen now.
Other than that, no.
Tonpafags are the worst.
Only takes it 4/10 desu. If he gets Netero to drink his juice it's a low diff, but he falls just under his base stats otherwise
Netero would bitch slap everyone so hard.
I know but I baselessly claim that adult Gon is "several" times stronger than old Netero who is "half" the strength of prime Netero thus adult Gon is stronger.
why are there two threads
What is Beyond's nen type?
>Gon if he had reached his full potential
He literally did in CA arc.
Netero didn't accept Hisoka's challenge during the exam because he knew that Hisoka would've killed him.
It's because he knew he wouldn't be a challenge at all.
Either Emitter, Specialist, or Enhancer.
A real prime Gon would be significantly stronger than Gon-san. Gon-san doesn't have the skill, experience, and hatsu development that would come with decades of growth, just the raw power.

They're still human so no, by definition it's impossible to defeat Netero in a fight. If he's focusing, as long as he notices the slightest thing he will punch with a GIANT HAND faster than any being can react in the HxHverse.
And anything not being an ant will be splattered. Perhaps Uvogin focusing with Gyo could survive one slap or two with broken bones, but giant punches outclass what these characters can survive.
There's no strategy to that to win in a straight fight, we haven't seen immortal characters besides Camilla and my hunter logic tells me it has a range limit. If she's slapped 30 miles into the distance, the cat most likely won't be able to target Netero anymore. Also what if her entire body gets splattered? Would she regenerate out of a bloody stain?
And the Buddha is a Nen Summon as well, it can probably kill the summoned cat.
Though that text is just for fights. It's definitely possible to just assassinate him, but that takes the fun out of it since it applies to everyone. The Zoldycks can probably track him down and kill him on his sleep, there's the Meleoron + Knuckles (or Knov) combo, or whatever fuckery Chrollo can create. Though Netero can survive falling down from the fucking sky, his physical stats and Nen armor are way beyond the likes of Chrollo and Hisoka.
Netero just punched the air for 50 years. He probably created his abilities just after getting to old to use them at maximum level.
Maybe Don Freecs considering all the insane horrors and titanic beasts of the Dark Continent he's gotten close enough to to write about and escape from unscathed. He probably has the means to evade and/or endure Hyakushiki Kannon's strikes.
But I'm not sure if an eternally youthful 600+ year old can really be considered human anymore.
Alluka
Exactly 0 normal human could have beat him in a direct face-to-face confrontation that starts within 1 second. That is what he autistically trained himself all his life. However a decent amount of people in the HxH universe could beat him in an ambush scenario if they picked the right time and place. In most of these unfair matchup he would just run. He would be "beat" in a figurative sense. For example Potclean + Invisibility would also defeat him... but he'd just run and the technique would auto-disable when out of range. After a certain point an enhancer becomes so superhuman compared to a non-enhancer that they can always run, they can be beat but not killed unless a global effect is involved.
There's also cheating I guess, with curses. If you're too powerful and famous, someone can raise babies to hate you and curse you with Nen suicide like on the boat.
It would make the most sense if Netero were an emitter because his technique incorporates emission, manipulation, and enhancement. If he were an emitter he would be strongest in emission but also strong in enhancement and manipulation. But if he's an enhancer then he should be relatively week in manipulation.
I don't like it when people theorize that there are master nen users who are "good at everything". It kind of defeats the point of the categories. I don't know if it's confirmed by Togashi that Netero is an enhancer but I hope he's not. PS data books aren't written by Togashi.
But Alluka isn't human.
If I remember correctly these cursers require close contact for a certain amount of time. I think the requirement is bigger when the target has a strong nen. In a direct confrontation with no trickery involved I guess Netero would slap them with his buddhist stand in 0.1 second and probably wouldn't be cursed to death.
True. This works because they had prep time and knew they'd all be together in the boat for a lot of time.
I think we're supposed to accept that Netero did his nen training wrong. He didn't have a teacher after all. He might have lost 40% or 60% efficiency but it doesn't matter after training 50 years longer than his opponent.
Batman with prep time.
Wrong.
Pariston is Ging's butt buddy
>If I remember correctly these cursers require close contact for a certain amount of time.
Not exactly. The time spent nurturing the grudge and how close to the target the user is when they commit suicide affect the curse's strength.
No.
>A real prime Gon would be significantly stronger than Gon-san.
Skill, experience, and hatsu development is needed more for other nen types. But he is an enhancer. All he needs is to enhance his punches.
Gon is going to die a nenless loser
stop making me depressed togashi wouldn't do that to him
Yes he would, Gon's story is over.
