The idea of pacifism in the bible is different than our modern day equivalent. Killing someone in personal defense or defense of others is ok. You just can't hate them. If your actions are always in defense of yourself and others and there is no better alternative than God's fine with killing. Killing people "just" out of hatred and for revenge is not christian. Killing the same guy to stop him from doing it again and praying for his soul is very christian. Turn the other cheek means forgive not spare.

None of that is correct. While the afterlife is certainly something to consider greatly, the Bible also tells us how to live life properly and how to dedicate oneself to good deeds.
