The left one picked out his wife to balance his powers out when he started heroing, and then fucked like rabbits and had four kids. What did fire punch man do?
Became a god. And rawdogged a girl he brainwashed into being his sister.
Checkmate I guess.
...do they fuck?
Yes
Why do you call HxH a deconstruction?
Its definitely subversive, but it doesn't really aim to deconstruct or tear apart the shonen battle manga genre. You know what I mean?
If anything Fire Punch from the OP aims to deconstruct the shonen revenge manga more than HxH does its genre. But I wouldn't call it a deconstruction either.
He became the Fire Punch
The pic already explains why it's a deconstruction but I'll do you one better:
This "deconstruction" bullshit has been debunked by so many people, i'm not even going to tell you how stupid this is.
You're not doing yourself or the hxh fans any favors if you can't articulate any opinion on your own, without the help of images made by other people or the opinions of youtube bloggers.
But that's giving you the benefit of the doubt that you even like HxH in the first place, instead of just being a run-of-the-mill low effort shitposter.
considering he had 4 kids I don't think he's a virgin.
I guess no other girl said yes!
>rawdogged a girl he brainwashed into being his sister
that's just a sad statement
Everyone who has read it and is capable of logical thinking and has some knowledge about deconstruction, knows it's a deconstruction.
Critics and journalists that write books about such subjects call the it a deconstruction. I'll post examples:
>While the series as a whole has received widespread praise, the Chimera Ant arc in particular has been often singled out. The arc has generated considerable discussion and analysis of its themes, symbols, characters and structure throughout and in the aftermath of its run. The arc is commonly viewed as a deconstruction of shonen anime; other readings have focused on supposed symbolic parallels with Buddhism and nuclear war. Nick Creamer compared the arc to a “war drama”. In a lengthy essay, Creamer read the arc as a study of, and in the end a simultaneous critique and defense of human nature.
>Chimera Ant Arc: The "enemy army" arc, in which a large enemy force accosts the heroes, with a powerful leader. This arc in particular examines the idea of having an enemy that is significantly stronger than you- from the enemy's perspective. What is it like being devastatingly stronger than everyone else? How would something that is on another level from everything process the worth of other creatures? What would something that was meteorically stronger than everything else think when it realizes that other creatures can think just like it can? What would it constitute as strength? The Chimera Ant King is a rather somber answer to all of these questions. Even more deconstructive is that the humans actually cheat to win- upon learning that he will die and realizing no one else can stop the king, Netero detonates a nuclear bomb in his chest than eventually kills the King from radiation poisoning, rather than a straight up fight.
Those terms may seem somewhat difficult to grasp to someone like you who does not have a higher education and is not well-versed in literary devices, but rest assured HxH is a deconstruction.
I guess it would be a little difficult for them to have sex with a guy who's been constantly burning for a decade
You have no idea. The manga is 120% suffering for every character.
Why don't you address the content of those "opinions"? I'll tell you why. Because they are constructed in such an informed and intellectual way, that it is absolutely impossible to refute them unless you are highly educated and learned on the same level of the people who wrote those thinkpieces, who are all Hunterchads.
Because I didn't read them. They're not yours. I want to talk to you. I can read opinions of bloggers myself, I don't need you to hold them up on a pedestal.
>Endeavor treated his wife like shit, and yet she gets ultra wet just by getting her favourite flowers from him
>Agni would have died a virgin if he hadn't gotten lucky with an amnesiac retard
well, he's off in this sex scene!
Togashi himself would be embarrassed if he saw how many people are twisting his work like this.
>>Endeavor treated his wife like shit, and yet she gets ultra wet just by getting her favourite flowers from him
the sex must be earth shattering.
Yes?
>mc is so shit that the series drops him
wow and huntertards actually praise this show?
>durr bend to my whims
That isn't how a discourse works. We've well established that critical consensus considers HxH (more specifically, Gon and the CA arc) deconstructionist. The burden of proof is on you should you wish to assert otherwise.
The appeal to higher authority is meaningless to me. I don't care if it is or isn't a deconstruction, because that in itself holds no value. If you are not willing to talk, why do you even bother replying? Keep watching your youtube friends and spamming low effort macros, because you don't actually hold any meaningful opinion yourself. But don't pretend like anyone has to care about which youtuber cock you suck.
he got the hot bod and can turn the fire off yet the only girl had sex with him is his sister!! that's Pathetic
he can't turn the fire off at will
>fucking the woman you love and remaining loyal to her is pathetic
The West deserves to fall if men like you are allowed to live
>and can turn the fire off
No he can't, his power is regeneration. He was attacked by a fire that doesn't go out until its target is destroyed, meaning he constantly suffers and has no control over the fire. It only goes out temporarily because of plot reasons.
literally
>he doesn't know
Togashi specifically mentioned how he wanted to implement deconstruction in YYH but Jump disallowed it.
>It saddens me to say this, but I had explored every possible direction for the YYH characters that I could in the context of a professional publication. All I could do at this point was to start deconstructing the characters, or go on repeating the same storylines over and over until the readers got bored. My attempts to deconstruct the characters were, of course, turned down by Jump. I didn't have the strength, physically and mentally, to keep doing the same thing over and over.
>DECONSTRUCTING
Straight from the horse's mouth. Once he got free reign with HxH he went ahead and did what he always wanted to: deconstruction. I'll take your concession now.
>the woman you love
his sister!
so, he got a life Chance and he chose to have sex with his sister
>so, he got a life Chance
No. His life gets even more fucked up to the point he says he was better off being engulfed by the flames.
Why do you make assumptions about series you haven't read before? It's pointless.
I honestly think that Fire punch is superior to Chainsaw Man
Where is the source for this interview?
>Yoshirin de pon! is a (in)famous YYH dojin Togashi made and gave out for free at the 1994 Summer Comiket. It contains some random drawings by him and his friends, a handful of short comics, an interview, and an essay.

Chainsaw Man hasn't reached its full potential yet.
Fire Punch is indeed a high peek to overcome, but I believe in Fujimoto.
>I honestly think
No you don’t, that is an objective fact.
It's interesting to see vastly different takes of immortality and the type of person who has it.
One is finished, the other isn't. Comparing finished work to unfinished work is retarded.
They have different strengths anyway.
except that he is talking about yyh here, hxh was never trying to be a full deconstruction and plays many of the shonen troupes straight
Dumb meme
KiVE
Who wins, wife beater or sister fucker?
Deconstruction basically means taking familiar tropes and playing them out in a more realistic, real-life like manner. In HxH, Gon works as a deconstruction of a typical shonen hero. He's carefree, naive, strong kid (essentially Goku like most shonen heroes ever since DB) put into a typical shonen world. But the manga doesn't let Gon have a typical shonen protagonist's development; instead, it explores in a realistic manner what would actually happen to someone like Gon in a setting like that
I wouldn't call what it does really deconstructive. Subversive like I said before yes.
But it doesn't go far enough to really be a proper deconstruction. Eva for all its flaws does go all out on deconstructing the mech genre. HxH for all its strengths doesn't do the same with the shonen battle manga.
They were clearly test tube babies. Endy is too autistic to put his dick inside anyone but Allmight.
BASED FIREBROS. WE JUST CAN'T STOP WINNING.
>the last post of both threads were "LIVE"
Mega Based
>not posting the SUPERIOR version
Holy shit
I like how you unironically posted this without realizing that HxH went to shit the moment Gon and Killua were written out of the story.
Now it's just budget game of thrones except it's released less frequently and entire chapters are just filled with Nen or political exposition. It's terrible writing, and he's obviously burnt out on the story.
Immortality? You got my attention.
Who's the person on the right? Sell me on him
