How would the heroes deal with a pandemic in-universe? I could imagine there being a hand sanitizer hero growing in popularity during such times. And would villains try to spread chaos by contracting the virus and then seeking out large gatherings to become super spreaders?

I imagine there will always be some sort of super specific quirk that makes normally humanity ending threats into a joke. Same thing goes with any sort of pandemic. Also, I doubt villains would try and spread the virus since it doesnt really benefit them. A virus isnt really aligned with good or evil.
