I'm not a virgin

Ok, what the hell? F/SN visual novel was released in what, 2004? This is a 21st century work and it has a heroine say she's not a virgin like that's a bad thing. Sakura is afraid Shirou will reject her for not being a virgin. This is so ridiculous, it took me out of the movie. It's crazy to think there are people who seriously have an issue with a heroine being a non-virgin and the writer was trying to make them feel uncomfortable by having Sakura "confess" to this "sin" worse than rape.

Good bait, OP.

Just delete yourself from existence.

If your dick touches a place that another dick has been in does that count as indirect swordfighting?

Ok, what the hell? Simpsons was released in what, 2004? This is a 21st century work and it has a store selling feed and seed say like that's a bad thing. Chuck is afraid Homer will reject him for not being a sucking and fucking. This is so ridiculous, it took me out of the movie. It's crazy to think there are people who seriously have an issue with a store being a non suck and fuck establishment and the writer was trying to make them feel uncomfortable by having Sneed "confess" to this "sin" worse than rape.

Based

This is high level

The movie actually played it up more than the VN did. In the VN, she said it early on as part of what she had been through and focused more on the fact that Shirou would get hurt for trying to save her. The movie making her randomly blurt out "I'M NOT A VIRGIN" at the climax of the scene completely ruined the mood and just came off as the director wanting to flex on virginityfags by showing that he wasn't going to shy away from it.

You do realise this has nothing to do with purity and more to do with the fact she was raped.

what does sex with sakura feel like

Welcome to the current year, you unvirgin

I am pretty sure she feels impure because she likes being raped so much.

Unlike the west which has been subverted by Jews. The Japanese still understand a woman being a whore isn't a good thing.

And that's why Sakura is the canon wife rather than Rin.

This. Keep in mind that her saying she wasn't a virgin was omitted from Realta Nua. People weren't sure if they would go with the RN version of he OG version. I'm glad they went with the OG version because it makes her character way more interesting. But I can see what you are saying that they made it a bigger deal.

This guy gets it

Because it doesn't have to be a big deal for society or Shirou for Sakura to think it's a problem. She believes her image of 'cute, pure kohai' is nothing more than an outer facade, deep down she's dirty and horrible person.
Not to mention the whole worm rape thing. It's part of why she asks Shirou if he thinks she's "unclean".
It's not entirely about her sexuality.

Isn't she like 16 years old? I think that's probably pretty normal to feel the need to mention it at that age, even with sluttiness being normalized. It means it's either a recent thing that they feel guilty about or likely a traumatizing experience from years ago.

Saber is my waifu but Sakura is special and wonderful

I should add, she's also doing the but where she's intentionally trying to push Shirou away, but at the same time wants him to validate her. She says she doesn't want his help, but deep down she wants to be pitied and play the tragic heroine.

I mean

You could also just like, read the lyrics of the movie's image songs. They're pretty explicitly Sakura's feelings.

This guy also gets it

Bait thread, I know, but I've gotta say that for a largely non-religious country, Japan is oddly more puritan at times than even extremely Catholic or Muslim countries. What happened to them that made them like that?

Based and fuck jannies

They didn't really care back during the 70s-90s, and found sexually liberated women in entertainment just as exciting as the west did. The rise of hyper-idealized moe pandering in the early 00s turned otaku into delusional purityfags who even hated rape victims.

The H-scenes take place before Rin tells Shirou about the high jump in the VN, where the reason Sakura gets upset is because Rin is trying to seduce Shirou into killing Sakura for her.

Confirmed for secondarhino. The H-scene happened after the rain scene in the VN, then the high jump scene happened the morning after Gilgamesh got eaten several days later. Video related:

I hate whores

>She believes her image of 'cute, pure kohai' is nothing more than an outer facade, deep down she's dirty and horrible person.
Yes, but she's only dirty and a "horrible person" because of what trauma she went through. For someone like that to try and be pure and SUCCEED at it is amazing. She's easily the strongest woman in the visual novel. Saber is stronger physically, but more as a man. Sakura went through hell and was plunged into the role of Satan himself, and was still able to pull through and make herself a loyal wife.

I'm talking only within the bounds of the movie. Sudou makes it look like the H-Scene only happened because Sakura was jealous of Rin, I prefer the VN order of events.

Only losers are virgins

And only virgins want virgins

Here's a quote from Nasu:
>Sakura is a symbol of loss and betrayal. It was important that people didn't perceive her as a villain, though, because we intended her to be more like a victim or sacrifice.

>It (Normal End) was the only conclusion considered at the time. However, after writing about 2/3 of it, I found that the story itself did not allow such a conclusion. After that, I wrote the original conclusion, and then followed the story and write the happy end. Since this was Shirou's tale of happiness after losing so much, even if Saber and Illya were lost, at least he should let Sakura achieve happiness. And this was the conclusion. Even though Sakura indirectly became a mass murderer, there was no reason to deny her of happiness. I came up with this idea that if one were alive, it was not bad to redeem him/herself while looking forward to happiness. Even though this was hypocrisy, I felt that the story itself strongly demanded this possibility. To be honest, it was the first time that I lost to the story I wrote.

>Nasu: Yes, its plot was created with porn in mind.

>Takeuchi: The image of those worms became too strongly attached to Sakura, and I think we did a pretty mean thing to her. ...We're making "Fate/hollow ataraxia" now, but even in that, there's been talk of how it'll be hard to dispel Sakura's negative image...

>Nasu: Aww, I don't think there's any need to dispel it, though. Isn't it alright for worms to just be part of Sakura?

based and checked

It's pretty obvious from the bloodsucking scene that they're both ready to have sex but are actively restraining themselves there.

ArcherxRin

Yeah, I just find it really amusing the order of events in the movie compared to the VNs order paints it that Sakura was mad.

>not bad to redeem him/herself while looking forward to happiness.
I really love Nasu's constant usage of this theme in FSN. The idea that despite your past(Saber), or your future(Shirou), or what horrible things you have done now(Sakura), you can still redeem yourself and your sense of self worth by persisting into the future as a Good Person.

Life lessons from a porn game, what a time to be alive.

Nasu is a cultured man

You thinking being a non-virgin at what, 14-15? is okay doesn't make it actually okay. Unless there are circumstances like rape involved, a girl that young fucking usually means she's a slut.

well in her case it wasn't consensual. Her virginity was literally taken by magical dick worms.

Tsukhime is truly a story about optimism, valuing yourself, appreciating your life, and moving boldly into the future. Death might not be as close to our doors as it is to Shiki’s… but, then again, you never know. That is why the lessons in this story are so applicable. You are alive now, but maybe not tomorrow. So look on your past fondly, smile at yourself in the mirror now and again, and hope lovingly for the future. Shiki is someone who has about a decade or two of life left, and he messes around with two immortal beings in the main routes.

In the epilogue, Shiki fatefully meets Aoko again and they muse a little bit about old times past. Shiki notes how the past several days/weeks (the span of X route) have been crazy. And some point Aoko tells him that those days will eventually end. Shiki agrees and asks something to the effect of when. The Magus just kind of remains silent and freaking Shiki just tells her that the days were fun, though.

And this is what, for me, Tsukihime was about. Yes, there were vampires and serial killers. But it was really about finding joys in today – even when it doesn’t seem like there are any… and about having faith in a tomorrow. Basically, Tohno Shiki could die ten years from that conversation with Aoko, or he might not even wake up the next day. Although we don’t “live close to death”, the same basic concept applies. There are no promises in life. So you can go through life miserable only to be potentially snuffed out tomorrow, or you can find your own happiness and hope it extends into your future.
