The golden age of anime.
The golden age of anime
but 2016 had the best anime
I see you loved the early 00s.
what is there not to love?
2007 was the last good year.
what show?
2020-20XX
thanks the new golden age created by tower of god
While I do agree that most of the stuff during that time was really good, my favorite anime aired 2012 and endet last year so I have some very fond memories of that decade.
1980-2010.
1995-2012 was the golden age of TV anime.
>tower of god
>manhwa
>anime golden age
pick one
>look it up
>its a "Crunchyroll original"
LMAOing@yourlife
I don't remember the MC with such a beta male face
But all the good anime in existence came between 2006 and 2014.
But that's one of the low points.
look the pic of this edgy chad
produced and animated by japanese
the voice of the main girl is the same of yukino yukinoshita so is official Yas Forums
remember that chruchy is the only hope to see unordinary animated
Wow, anime quality just doesn't stop decreasing, with the first couple decades having actually decent shows while the next two are SoL garbage.
It's just spammers pushing that chart, it doesn't matter
Stupid zoomer.
Yes, at least for TV anime.
imagine being this wrong
>Use 3D animation to save money
>Have shit quality 3D animation
Were they even trying?
It seems to matter to you doe.
It doesn't matter as in it isn't accurate
>The golden age of anime.
The early 2000s are when they dropped cel animation in favour of cheap digital animation that looked, well, cheap. It's also the age of uninspired shounen adaptations. And it's the start of the rise of Gainax "flashy style over storytelling" approach. If anything, your "golden age" is the fall into the dark age that were the mid-2000s to early 2010s.
>1980
not Tetsuwan atom
But it also had shows which pander specifically to me. Like Di Gi Charat, Galaxy Angel, and Akihabara Dennou Gumi.
>starts and ends with GGG
Sounds about right to me
That doesn't mean that it was good overall. Every era in anime had some things that you or me liked. But if we want to evaluate them on a semi-objective basis, we'll have to look at the status of the industry, the standards of animation and maybe general appeal. And of course what kind of inflence that era had on anime as a whole.
>dropped cel animation in favour of cheap digital animation that looked, well, cheap
Cheap cel animation look cheap too, retard.
>age of uninspired shounen adaptations
Poor battle shounen adaptations were always a thing, meanwhile early 00s were the age of the most unique and creative anime.
>"flashy style over storytelling"
Was a thing at least since 80. Also, Kyoani.
im fucking 31
>2007
>2011
>part of the dark ages
You fokkin wat, m8?
kys
>Cheap cel animation look cheap too, retard.
Yes, but if you think that cel animation wasn't at its peak in the 90s and digital animation was nothing but a cost-cutting measure which animators had little experience in in the early 2000s, then it's you who's the retard.
>Poor battle shounen adaptations were always a thing
Not like they were in the age of Naruto, Bleach and One Piece (I know, the latter of which began a bit earlier).
>meanwhile early 00s were the age of the most unique and creative anime.
Very few of them, and the few that they were were far less remarkable and far less influential than the classics of the 20th century.
>Was a thing at least since 80.
No, it wasn't. Again, Gainax set new standards (read: lows).
I get that you're trying to be a relativist here just for the sake of it, but the ealy 2000s are not a good era for anime, even if they are the era you grew up in.
2011 was in no way notable.
Produced by *mericans
say psyche rn
Anime is not notable at all.
based
>haruhi
>not znt, sumomo momomo, doujin work, genshiken, or knj
How do you define this?
Why were these years a golden age?
Did you just feel like making a dumb thread that goes nowhere?
Early 2000 is when they start digitally paint bucket.
So yea,
NO.
>image having anime without americans nukes
The BLACKED atheist swordfag?
Source, please.
>oreimo
>not Yosuga no Sora
FUCKING PLEB!
I agree with OP.
Godannar
Don't worry. Retard just finally caught on to his new buzzword of the month.
Thats false because Yuru Yuri didn't come out til 2011
No, you aren't. Stupid fucking zoomer.
Golden age of anime is whenever the beholder first saw his first anime.
I would not even say this ironically, user.
>economic crash
>early digital transition
>death of the ova format
>rise of moeshit
>"golden age"
Absolutely boomer pilled
But I started watching anime on the 96 and the objective best time for anime is the early 10s.
I started watching anime in '96 and the best time for anime is definitely the late '80s/early 90s.
This was the period when half baked VN adapations were glutting the airwaves right? Yeah, I'm gonna have to NOPE on that.
>the objective best time for anime is the early 10s.
That's bullshit. And you know it.
No.
Only for animated Hentai. 2010's are much better for normal Anime
2010's is early stage dark age for anime.
Every age is the Dark Age of anime.
My top anime:
1995 Evangelion
2006 Haruhi Suzumiya
2007 Gurren Lagaan
2009 K-on!!
2009 Clannad After Story
2011 Madoka Magica
2011 Stein's Gate
None fall into your "golden age". OP is a faggot.
