Except not really, Euros are pretty big on it, France and Italy for one, to the point the PS2 games were first localized for those countries, and spanish language wasn't even an option back then; only in the last decade video games and merch have gotten officially released in Mexico and Brazil. Also it is big in China, that's where all bootleg figures comes from after all, the first mobile MMOs were first released there before the rest of the world.

Ikki transported himself and Shaka to another dimension. Which Shaka could have escaped by himself leaving Ikki stranded, but he was nice enough to ask Mu to bring them both back. That's clearly not a win.

And Shun got a double knockout with Aphrodite, same as everyone else's fights.

Saint Seiya is one the earliest cases of a shounen manga series getting really popular with women, they wanted to see that fluffy hair at all times.

Sanctuary and Hades are a must.

Phoenix can ressurect, but still is a bronze cloth, it breaks easily, the time it takes for it rebuilt itself depends on how much cosmo Ikki has, a fight might not wait untill Ikki ressurects for it to finish, in some aspects a Gold Cloth is the better choice.

Saint Seiya G Assassin made an interesting proposal though, in it the Leo Cloth and Phoenix Cloth fused, Ikki became a flaming Leo Saint.

What makes you think that attack is inherent to the Cloth? Ikki has all his attacks, no matter if he is the Phoenix Saint or the Leo Saint.

Kurumada didn't even consider the fact Saints could change classes when he started the series, that thing was only added to the canon 20 years after the original manga ended, only Dohko and Shion were broze saints, all other 10 were Gold Saints from the get go.
