you knew the answer to this
That girl on the left is cute, I gotta watch this
I've already done my Gurren Lagann yearly rewatch, i need something else with the same level of amaziness.
besides the obvious answer, there is also this
She is, go for it.
Based and kaijipilled, already watched it tho.
bump
Kill la Kill. I guess anything Imaishi would fit the bill really.
Promare was really stupid.
Already saw it too, ins't there any animes with kamina-like protagonists that aren't from gainax or trigger? Should i give up on my pursuit?
It was't stupid, it was exaggerated, and that's a good thing for gurren-like movies.
After watching Promare I want to get into Super Robots.
I've watched Gurren Lagann but I want to watch the classics that inspired it, any recommendations?
It sure ins't as good as Gurren Lagann but Gunbuster is it's inspiration, it's also only 6 episode so about the same length as Promare.
how about literally burning

motherfuckers don't know about G Gundam
Is G Gundam actually good or is it just a meme?
For non-mecha examples, there are plenty of older shonen series that fit the bill. One example if Blazing Transfer Student.
It's great, but it's also a parody/satire of Gundam and mecha overall.
But despite being a parody/satire it's still genuinely fantastic on its own.
The joke is that they're applying the mentality, action and absurdity of super robot series to the semi-realism of Gundam and mocking a lot of the main series' conventions while being in its own separate universe.
to add to this, I think it also actually succeeds in staying true to the main series' core messages.
Mister, for that I suggest going to to see what a REAL BURNING SOUL HAD IN STOOOORE!
Same energy department, just different output.
The only thing burning in Promare was a dumpster fire.
Worst show trigger has ever made. That was a good scene tho.
I want to see these two interact
I already forgot about Promare t b h
I did like it, but it's nothing memorable. The animation was also not impressive-
High School DxD
Joe from Act II: the father of death. Was just thinking of light up the night while that fucking scene with the dragon was playing
Really? For me it's the best anime movie I've ever seen, but yeah, maybe I'm biased because of Lio.
I just don't think it's special or revolutionary like most people depict it.
Wut?
I don't think it's special nor revolutionary, but it's incredibly fun and exaggerated, it's something made for gurren lagann/super robot fans.
Which subs should I use for Promare
Whoever have the most seeds
Why is that girl so flat?
Can someone explain to me how Kray was in the wrong prior to them pulling a third solution that fixed everything out of nowhere. He seemed to be doing the best solution. Imagine if galo stopped him and couldnt find a solution. Theyd be fucked.
He killed Deus, if he dind't he could've installed the correct Promatech Engine on the Arc-Spaceship, killing no one in the process.
because she bigger below
futa
Check out the Getter OVAs and mangas.
Note that Armageddon is completely nonsensical, but still looks great
Fool, TTGL's whole message is that being hotblooded will either get you killed or endanger the whole universe.
Except he intentionally chose the option that would hurt the Burnish the most, not realizing that he was dramatically quickening doomsday. If he hadn't the issue would still exist, but it would be coming much farther in the future and they would've had time to find a better solution. Besides, if the Burnish had been accepted in the first place instead of being driven out they wouldn't have had to use their powers and the "doomsday" situation wouldn't have ever happened. As a very respected mayor, he could've tried working towards that.
Or, you know, make public the information that the Burnish were going to destroy that world by using their power. It isn't like they were all suicidal
Its true he should have waited six months before trying to teleport. But he couldnt have known its because of burnish treatment that the world was ending. If it wasnt for the stupid writing of the protags falling in the lake, they wouldnt have known either. And its not like kray didnt try to save the earth. He investigated it the core could be frozen and found that their tools couldnt reach it. He should have researched a better solution for six months but prepare for teleportation since likelihood of a solution was small anyway outside of bullshit writing.
Yeah, but was the core really unstable enough that the Burnish just existing and not using their powers would have ended the world? The smart option would've been a PSA and giving everyone the information. If the Burnish knew that, they would've stopped using their powers and everything would've been fine.
The only issue is that to stop them from using their powers, they couldn't fight either. Which would mean that the government would have to stop hunting them, something that Kray would never consider. He would've had to drop his fake "kill or be killed" mentality.
He did know that the burnish treatment would cause the promare to go insane and destroy the planet, it was revealed in the conversation record from before he killed Deus.
That's an incorrect oversimplification of TTGL's message
The use of the power doens't matter, the world ending problem was caused by the pain the burnish felt being shared with the promare.
None burnier.
>If it wasnt for the stupid writing of the protags falling in the lake, they wouldnt have known either.
Did the giant robot called DEUS EX MACHINA not tip you off, user? Analysing the who and what is about as pointless as trying to come up with a plausible explanation for Rambo movies.
Hey man first Rambo movie had a good plot
>6 episodes
>same length as an hour and a half
Imagine being this retarded.
I see it as a huge metaphor about self-determination.
I never thought it was possible for something as obvious as TTGL's message to fly over even the simplest person's head, but you apparently exist to prove me wrong.
