Eren x Historia is pure kino on so many levels. Outside of the obvious fact that this couple is aesthetically pleasing, it also simultaneously btfo every single obnoxious group of shippers : the Shitkasa self-inserters, the delusional Yumikuri dykes and the fujo anything x Eren. This ship comes out of left field at first, literally nobody expected it, but it makes so much sense from a character and storytelling standpoint, because Eren and Historia both faced the same existential crisis and their bond was cemented during their ordeal in the cave. This is not some fancy romantic relationship, or love at first sight, or superficial attraction, this is something more subtle, this is an indestructible bond built between two people who overcame their darkest hour together because they were inspired by one another. Everything else like the parallels with Grisha and Dina, or the Goddess/Devil analogies are just cherry on top. With Eren and Historia, Isayama blessed us with a masterclass on how to write couples in fiction, everyone who is against Eren x Historia is against great storytelling.

Reminder that the reoccurring moral in SnK and the command of the Attack Titan is to not get swayed or demoralized in your path, to have second thoughts or fear or else you'll lose to the enemy and die. This was first shown with Mikasa giving up on fighting until Eren taught her how to live - by fighting and moving forward. On several occasions she thanks Eren for teaching her how to live, reminding him of his own lesson that he shouldn't get swayed by desperation. This same parallel is seen with Levi and Historia. He bullies her and threatens to hunt her for the rest of her life because she decided to run from him instead of fight him. She kneels before him just like Ymir kneeled before her husbando, thus she refuses to fight but also refuses to run. But unlike Ymir Historia decided to fight and face Manlet later on reminding him how he should not forget what he told her. Hisu eventually forgot Levi's advice that she should always fight and decided to yield to Kiyomi's plan. Manlet on the other hand was swayed in the forest with doubt, not knowing what he was originally fighting for. Now Historia is pregnant and immobile and Manlet is crippled, and both haven't stated their opinions on Eren's rumbling yet. They're simply a Kenny and Uri couple 2.0. Then we have the parallel of continuously marching forward against your enemy with the AT's message being the same as what Erwin planned on doing in the near future.
Once Pregglet and Cripplet speak their mind on the rumbling it's very likely Cuckji's goal will be questioned since she is being swayed by trying to appeal to the enemy as progressive and advanced, like a typical cuck usually does. And we as the audience know the world does not consider that their own attack is what provoked the rumbling as Cuckji hopes, thus the enemy will once again point the finger of blame at the devil Eren and Paradis. Prove me wrong. Protip: you can't.
