I was thinking about parts like this. The hospital visit before the fight, showing Shoto/Natsuo/Fuyumi later, Hawks inner monologue and the that random Endy fanboy all slow down the pace. It's far from being just Endy vs High-End without any interruptions.

To fully animate the entire fight even only up to the chapter of the episode title would take around 35 minutes.
All of that will be condensed into one episode, maybe a small part of the previous one.
There's just not enough time, or they need to heavily cut things.

I just hope those won't get cut too much, cause it's a very good way to set up the emotional stakes of the battle
