If Hori was a good author, Deku/Ochako would've been more interesting, but it's dogshit level of boring and uninspired.
That said, they're obviously going to be endgame, and I'm fine with it because I know the entire series is gonna be a clusterfuck of shit writing and unsalvageable character development so I just don't care.
That aside, I would've loved for Bakugou/Ochako to be canon, because it will at the very least show that Hori has a semblance of balls/creative inspiration in him, because it will also help either Ochako or Bakugou's characters actually go somewhere.
tl;dr - manga is already a disaster, this pairing ending up together might help it a little.
