Series was really poorly written from the get go and was mostly just nonsense with a nice setting.

Then they never explored the setting and just made it battle after battle while continuing to compile on the bullshit. It was never thought out. So the entire aesthetic of the setting just went to waste and into the shitter shortly after Escanor beat Meliodas's brother

One thing the anime did right was nailing her voice.
