You thought that we'll no longer see a Hime in the story? Well, turns out there's Kanayamahime, whose name is shown in the PV above. There's also confirmation of internal conflict within Mokusa, as there's a certain "Hidakami Faction" also shown in the PV.

The ride is far from over.

Main cast is the 6 members of the investigation team sorry Hana with room for others, but it's looking to be chiefly focused on the game characters. It might end up tying into the upcoming story arc that goes past the anime.

Seems like it'll be a sub-faction within Mokusa. We haven't met the other girls yet, so Akira is probably the only biker among them. She's Yomi's childhood friend.

The two drama CDs heavily imply that Mokusa is still keeping tabs with the influence of Origami within the Special Sword Administration Bureau. To make shit more chaotic, there's a separate faction within Mokusa, and the players of TojiTomo are already aware that an unknown faction is interested in Mihono for who knows why.

We barely have an idea. There's a ton of loose plot threads centering around Akira, who only appeared in the story recently. Akira is a spy both for Mokusa and some other organization that wants to use Mihono for something. They've been monitoring her for a while, because she's implied to be some kind of human tamahagane hybrid. Now that Mihono's powers have awakened and are consuming her, Akira is stepping in. There was some rogue research group at the start of the game that built a human aradama from okatana, Suruga, which might be the same organization. As Suruga was dying, she realized Mihono was the same as her, which probably refers to both of them having okatana embedded in their body.

That might be mostly unrelated, since it seems like they'll split off after being unhappy with the way the new administration is handling things. Like letting Yomi and Yume back into service.

Another OVA release format, I'm going to be a withered old man by the time the story is finished.

There's going to be six (6) Princess Principal movies and we barely got a release date for the first one after 2 years.

To be fair, PriPri was delayed from 2019 due to Ange's seiyuu retiring from illness.
The wait for GuP to end will kill me anyways.

The PV shows that it's only two parts: a Zenpen and a Kouhen, both to be released by 2020 (and hopefully with COVID-19 already put into consideration).

Mihomo's ova will be so successful that a season 2 will come afterwards.

PriPri movie 1 hasn’t premiered yet while Das Finale had 2 parts out. And you think it will get a faster release than Das Finale. Considering Actas is doing PriPri movies and Das Finale and GuP is more successful than PriPri, Das Finale will be the priority in the release.

Seems like the OVA is "co-produced" by CR. They did that with the Black Fox movie too, so I think subs will be guaranteed and timely.

Honestly, the game cast has gotten shafted hard by the anime cast. 3/4ths of the game story so far was mainly a retread of the anime's events, with the game cast taking detours here and there. I'm all for giving them the spotlight now, because they do have a lot of potential. Judging from the drama CDs, the staff won't forget about the anime cast either.

I love a lot of things about Mihono, but to each their own I guess. I do think she'll benefit from taking a leading role, since we'll get to see more of her serious side and her insecurities, rather than her just being dumb all the time in side stories.

It's written by the same staff and was always imagined as a part of the setting from the beginning. The situation is extremely different to Madoka.

The canon is different though.

Yeah, there's two divergent canons (the anime and the game canon), while there are some details from other media that seem to support one or both canons (like Maki suffering from Aradama PTSD in the manga). Those details make it hard to determine the one true canon and whether one detail supports or outright opposes the other canon.

It's only treated as such after Yume's return from the netherworld. The events of the game still mostly happened off screen in the anime. And the details of the story are only half of it. The game adds a ton of detail to the setting.

There's also the LN and the drama CDs and those all follow the anime canon. They could also just write it in a way where it doesn't matter which of the two it is.
