Ty for dumping. This chapter was a nightmare. I loved it
I don't like the implication that the DM is inherently evil and self-serving.
How's your campaign going?
This was, by far, the best chapter of this manga.
Lore, cute, interesting, great art, great scenes, creepy, and Misurn a cute.
>Laius is actually the villain now
So it's confirmed Marcille is a black mage practicing diabolism?
Stone cold killa
this is one of the best written mangas i've seen
The lion thing that talked to Laius was the dungeon demon right? He's pretty much going down Misurn path if that's the only way to save his sister.
i loved the explanation
that dont usually happens
>Lauis getting tricked into releasing a demonic catastrophe
OH NO
I love this page
>trusting an elf
metal
cute demon
Wait is this some sort of doujin aimed at specific kind of audience?
Human captain is chad as fuck
That's one way to tell the audience that Misurn's not a girl.
>kabru is actually more feminine than captain
You have to do it on purpose to be a villain, laius is a patsy.
What, you never got a footrub from your best bro buddy before?
>suddenly demons
Nah, she's just an ignorant teenager.
>Laius was the villain the entire series
>The lion is a demon and just wants a new dungeon lord to drain desires from
Til he eats the demon
Wait, which one is brother and which one is girl?
Will Laius listen to reason or will he find a way trick the trickster?
And that's it.
The demon will eat his desire but he'll eat the demon and get it back
I'm pretty sure the one on the left is the elf_ while the one on the right is a __elf_.
this was a very good chapter
You know, I had a feeling I'd seen this demon before, and I was right. He showed up in one of the other one shots.
>he-man
10/10 ending to a 10/10 manga
Might be too old to be Marcille's ideal.
Laius's ultimate goal is to eat a demon. His desire will outpower a rampaging demon.
>the entire manga builds not to one climactic battle, but to one climactic meal
>rubbing elf feet
>forced fellatio from a giant goat
>race swapping
Something for everyone really.
>lion winged demon tries to pull a fast one on Laius
>"I wonder how demon tastes like"
>final page is Titan Laius breaking through the dungeon's roof filling the world with monsters
>Laius gets his desires eaten and becomes a desireless husk
>The group teams up together to kill the demon and cook it for Laius' sake
It's perfect
What a fucking chad.
Goat demon is killed and eaten as a mexican barbacoa, With tortillas and broth, nice desu.
Neat. Dont get many dark spreads in this series.
Wait, was this Kabru's adopted mom/guardian that kept him in his room until he convinced her to train him?
Would that make Kabru, like, Misurn's, like...god-nephew or something, if she was close enough to him to be his friend in the Canaries and rehabilitate him?
Some deep lore in this chapter
>Ancients were wiped out by summoning demons
>Dungeons were created as demon prisons
>Dungeon lords are just desire farms for demons
>Demons will eventually feed on enough desire to go full Eclipse
>Dungeon lords have their wishes granted, and the more complex and twisted the wishes, the more power the demon gets, meaning Laius is absolutely the worst possible person to become a dungeon lord
spooky
Fairy continued to be the best
The only thing I don't quite understand is why Misurn became weakened, shouldn't the demon have waited before eating him until he could've broken through the dungeon?
Again?
His desire to eat demons will probably make him more power than the demons trying to consume him.
The way he breaks out of the top panel and reaches in from off-screen in the bottom right is really eerie
nice catch, though given that Kui seems to be drawing on the OG demon catalog for this chapter, it might simply be her drawing from that same source for both rather than an explicit reference to her other work
