Railgun

Why does Mikoto has really shit stamina?
Touma could keep fighting for days without eating

Because she doesn't have any formal combat training and its an acceptable vulnerability.
Touma's god-like endurance with no training or reasoning is just another gift handed to him by Kamachi.

Having 5 seconds between arcs does wonders for stamina.

Because Touma is a Dragon and Mikoto is Pikachu.

Her batteries ran out, she literally said that.

>Touma could keep fighting for days without eating
That's exactly what she did during the sisters arc though

Because the author is inconsistent as shit.
On another occasion she went rogue for maybe weeks and led a double life of pretending to be school girl by day and at night shutting down illegal experiments.
Even when exhausted to no end she was able to fend of Meltdowner.

Running around for days on end being dragged into shit every 10 minutes and having Heaven Canceller's drugs pumped afterwards does wonders.

Because men have more stamina than women

As someone who read up to nt17 and then stopped... GT1 is really good and 22R deserves a lot of praise for furthering the series and the series's meaning.
GT1 reads well, makes sense, the events stick in your head, it has depth -- it's really praise worthy. Towards the end of NT there reached a point where managing everything at once distracted from an otherwise good plot. Something I'd point to is including the coffin carrying person in an already crowded cast; the idea is great, but to pour it into a large cup already almost filled to the brim? I'd say you start to challenge the rest of the cup to fall apart and get soggy.
The rest of the Aleister arc is memorable, don't get me wrong, but it is nothing all too amazing. At the very least I think, looking back, you all were really making more of it than should've been made -- though that can be forgiven since many thought it was the end or near the end, and Kamachi baited you faggots repeatedly, like with AC blowing up.

I also think it's worth saying that 22R really sets a good stage for a struggle that initiates a feeling of virgin youth for the series, the new stage to understand that hand. I have to give praise to Kamachi in doing this, it feels so simple now but it really is amazing to bring that youthful energy into GT; to answer nostalgic longing for simpler and better times in a series, actually give a feeling like you're starting again -- all without losing all that NT and OT has given us.

I'm very pleased by this and I'm unsure if it's just some result from my life's schedule shifting a bit. It feels too good.

Mikoto’s mom is her moms mom.

And Index too!

Am I an uneducated waste of space or can’t everybody working on Railgun s3 do their jobs from their homes online? Why don’t they do that? Why don’t they do that?

That’s actually a good point. They should be able to do their jobs from home once they’re coordinate everything.

Office culture is much more efficient in many regards. I have no doubt animation would suffer from being done remotely.
Animation as in a massive collaborative project like this

Misaki a pile of shit

I tried to read GT1 so far but I gave up when I read over sixteen paragraphs of Mikoto, Index and Touma playing darts. I actually don’t know how you all have the patience for that in an anime series. I’ve always viewed anime as something that is supposed to catch your attention fast and gave a lot of action, romance and overall fun spread everywhere but these Index LN really just drag on and have maybe 2-3 exciting parts per volume where as some manga I read and episodes of anime can have up to 100+ moments like that an episode.

Because Mikoto is weak.

What about the tea scene in NT22R?
There's really nothing wrong with giving detail to a scene and making it matter... I'd argue the thing I dislike most about this series is when something is done without detail, done without proper understanding established.
Make what's happening clear in my head so that it stays in my head. I'm going to throw out temporary information while creating permanent information in my head, don't make anything important short enough to be temporary information.

Touma is relatively weak as well when it comes to fighting. He starts to struggle against 2 or more people. Kuroko is unironically a stronger than both of them in that regard and that’s just one example.

I agree with most of what you’re saying but something about Kamachi’s style just makes it seem like it drags on and I usually like detailed stuff. Take Magus bride for example. The series itself isn’t filled with action or anything but it remains exiting regardless relying on world building and detailed story telling. I figure this is why Kamachi hasn’t taken any major steps as a writer since Index/Railgun and I’m not wishing him bad or anything because I want him to evolve just as much as anybody else. Kamachi just seems to be stagnant in his writing. This was fine when anime style writing first hit the world but these days it’s not really enough to compete with better written series.

2/2

Even the Railgun anime so far. You can see that the people working on the animation, music and directing are on an entirely different level even and can actually be compared to the best of the best in the industry today but same as with Magia record and SHAFT the writing is just not there. I have a blast watching Railgun just as a spectacle because the team working on it is clearly talented and flex all the time what they’re capable of but we don’t have a story like Clannad, Death Note or the Original Madoka etc. the story is somewhat flat and uninspiring with the world building somewhat carrying the series. I think Kamachi is a master at world building but can use a lot of work in character interaction and pushing his own limits sort of how he won’t even touch romance. I get that some people think he’s cool for that but why? He’s literally just restricting himself. Romance doesn’t need to play a huge role but it’s a very essential human emotion. That’s like writing a story without humor. Even series like bleach have a little romance.

Who will be Accel's prison buddy?

Awaki because she has red hair.

Accel likes red hair.

He’d probably have to go through a very traumatic event to change his writing style this late in his life.

I am super hungry and impatient for GT2. I care about Railgun and Accelerator, but I'm afraid I won't be super pumped for either one of them until one or both gets a time skip and we can see stuff closer to the GT timeline OR something so exciting happens in one or both of them it makes me chill on my desire to see some of the offscreen stuff GT1 has implied has happened

Why does it even matter. When do you think something truly important and exciting will happen in GT? 12 volumes?

Over time I find myself losing interest in this series more and more.

Truly important and exciting stuff has already happened in GT, so I expect either a continuation OR a temporary backtrack to fill in some of the question marks GT1 left us. Like what Hamazura was doing. Did Mikoto really have an offscreen conversation with Accelerator? What's Tsuchi up to? Will Accelerator's backstory novel fit in with his current plot in GT?

Be honest. Whenever a new volume is released do you all find it to be a little bit of a chore to read it these days?

Name three “truly important” events that already happened because I bet what you think is truly important is just a means to make it to the next part of the story or big bad.

Shut the fuck up mobilewhore you don't even read them

I tried to read GT.

Take a break dude

Truly important examples

Major death
Confession
Major character development that isn’t forgotten about and actually changes the character
Big plot twist that effects the world building in a way that changes perspective of readers
Etc.

>Anna made her move right away
>Anna's first move actually hit its mark instead of being deflected at the last second
>Accelerator is seemingly going to jail AND ending his relationship with Last Order, or at least putting some serious distance between them in hopes they will drift apart naturally

Touma is a self-insert, barely a character, and more of a vehicle for Kamachi to explore his lamebrain gimmicks and for the nth newest character to fellate him.

>Anna made her move right away
Just another big bad who will probably get punched by Touma only to be forgotten for 36+ LN volumes after her plan fails

>Accelerator is seemingly going to jail AND ending his relationship with Last Order, or at least putting some serious distance between them in hopes they will drift apart naturally

He’s literally going to get out of jail early and not learn anything and him and LO will reunite and everything will go “back to normal” as always.

Nothing of true value.

Those are just plot points. Nothing exceptional is happening there.

Index could out-eat this donut steel.

Now if Accel went out of his way to scare LO into not liking him and genuinely made her scared of him or hate him so that she’d leave and not come back because he was trying to distance their lives for her benefit that would be considered almost there because that’s hard character development on LO.

The circumstances of this would imply that Accel would have to work very hard to reignite their relationship and even then there’d always be that shred of doubt on their bond between the both of them. That’s character development.

I actually do agree with the idea he won't stay in jail long if he ends up actually going at all. But I strongly disagree that he'll learn nothing and that he'll be "like normal" with Last Order. I think Kamachi is setting him up to finally rid him of his guilt and to at last have a healthy, positive relationship with Last Order/Will that isn't based on guilt, victimhood, crime or punishment.

See, this is where is think you’re very over enthusiastic about Kamachi’s talent as a writer.

This is what he's doing, except he's using physical separation instead of fear. He literally told her to fuck off and let her sob while being cold as fuck to her.

I can only imagine how legendary this series would be if Gen Urobuchi was asked to help write it.

Missed the Touma thread so it has to double time it here.

Is this obvious bait hours?

>bowling dad

I wish double Jesus was my dad.

I’ll edit the next character posted topless.

You don’t. You be quiet now.

Index needs more Mikos.

Unfortunate. This girl is practically a boy.

There’s very few girls in anime that aren’t. That’s why anime girls are so appealing to boys because they have male behavioral traits.

The girl to get the first ever sogebu, or at least a proto version of it, and she probably doesn't even remember it.

We need REAL girls.. like Harumi.

She does have decent stamina for a 14 y/o
Touma is just borderline inhuman

Not really. Remember when he was gasping for air after running with Saten’s luck charm for just two or so blocks?

Can we officially start calling Saten kitten mittens?

Her powers are exothermic, whenever she attacks she expends energy. His are endothermic, whenever he negates an attack he gains its energy.

She has better toned legs than he does though. His legs look like donkey legs. Sure they’re strong but they’re stumpy and sad.
