Why do people hate Stone Ocean?

I always see memes about people hating it. And I don't get why. I personally thought it was pretty good, and I liked the ending. I'm just wondering why people dislike it so much and don't want an adaptation.

The pacing is all over the place, alone with some of the worst leaps in logic of the entire series, the worst utilized crew and supporting cast, and a second half so bad I nearly dropped the series as a whole after finishing.

1.) Boring/unappealing main cast
2.) Boring/needlessly convoluted stand abilities
3.) Lots of missed opportunities or Araki forgot moments
4.) Bad pacing
5.) Bad non-sensical ending

I still put Part 6 above Part 1 tho

Different user but mostly this, plus boring antagonist and setting. I like the ending and the final stands myself though.

The prison setting was really lame compared to any other part. The Jobros are probably the weakest. Pucci is the least interesting bad guy besides Kars in jojo.

Jolyne's cool and maybe one of the better jojos but she couldn't carry everything else being so shitty.

The main plot is stupid. Everything Pucci does makes no sense. The bone, the plants, the green baby, going to the coordinates, it's just random bullshit that somehow manages to give Pucci a stand that coincidentally lets him achieve his dream which is revealed right at the end of the story.

I think Araki realized how poorly done Pucci was and did his villain type better with Valentine.

Part 6 takes place in America.

Everyone seems to hate everything. From what I've seen in Jojo threads none of you seem to like anything.

Every single post is always "Why is [any part] the worst part?" No one can agree which parts are good. The only thing Jojo threads can agree on is that all parts are shit. It's weird and it's why I avoid these threads now. But why is that? Why do you all act so fucking stupid all the time?

I like the first four parts, as well as 7 and 8.

Part 4 is worse than part 6 honestly

Honestly, I love this series but nearly every single part has glaring issues that keep me from loving any single part. It wasn't until part 7 that I finally had a part I could definitively say was my favorite.

Part 7 probably has the most glaring issues of all parts even if it also has some of the highest highs of the series.

-Was the first and only Girl perspective Jojo, girls suck
-Jolene was a bitch
-Stone Ocean was when the art got to the point of being undeniably western/uber realistic. People like how animu and mango don't look like real people, don't have flaws and ridges like real people. In other words real people are ugly compared to animu, and Vento Aureo was when the art started becoming more realistic. Stone Ocean confirmed that the art was going to continue getting realistic.
-The story was getting longer and shittier, as did Steel Ball Run did and JoJolion is, but still not as dragged out as the latters.
-Made DIO have more kids, and shitty kids not as cool or strong as DIO and Giorno.
-Made DIO confirmed bisexual.
-Teased the idea of DIO being brought back, but didn't bring him back.
-Ended the natural world line, thus ending it on a sub-par note, and also disallowing more ideas in the world line like, Son of Josuke, Son of Giorno, Child of Jolene, or Kars returning from Space.
-Crappy stands.
-Despite a mostly girl cast, all were ugly, mostly to blame on the realistic artstyle. I swear, when Vento Aureo started, I thought Bucciarati was a girl, then Stone Ocean made me think Costello was a guy.

Its because of how wildly different the nature of the series is. I personally hate Part 1, the first half of 3 and 6 and love the rest. Some people hate Part 4 which is my favorite. Most series are linear while Jojo changes wildly in each part. Some people are just posting bait as well.

And even then, a solid 10-30 of the remaining fifty are filled with boring dio son filler fights (i'm mostly thinking of that parasite organism guy.)

So it's like 120-130 chapters of filler with about 20-30 interesting chapters to tie you over

I pretty much lost interest in this series once I found out about the universe reset. It started to go downhill at Part 4 with repeating the Stand concept.

If the series just wants to aimlessly wander, with the new generation every arc device being completely irrelevant, and just sticking to the same methods of fighting forever. Count me out.

part 7 is soft-reboot and completely unrelated to previous parts. universe reset doesn't even change anything from previous parts(they happen as they originally did), it just effects part 6 itself.

DIO's sons were an asspull and the chase after Pucci was less interesting story vehicle than in any other part. The prison setting was way too unutilized.

It's the first really nonsensical Jojo Part, it has the trippiest and worst explained stand ability (fucking SNAILS), and caused the series to regress back to the past (even if it's in another timeline), plus we lost all the characters we knew were still alive and could've come back, like Josuke. Don't give me bullshit about the Josuke from Jojolion being the same character, they barely look alike and the little we've seen of his character makes it obvious they act nothing alike.
